There is no freedom under the guise of American liberation. Even America's freedoms are gone. Welcome to the new world order of a one world government blessed by the muslim named Obama. All you people were fooled. I saw it coming years ago, which is why I stayed out of the U S military. It is over. Die to live.

someone who afraid the system of social equality in my opinion can be
characterized fascist..because communism teaches that everyone must be payed on the basis of his needs not on his ability...also speaks for no aythorities, that the masses have the power to control everything...that's why the "big heads" talk about shit for communism beacause they want people to adopt this opinion so they can keep them calm by stop thinking of social fair system&keep buying the products they want to sell...
I don't understand. Why do I only buy products that I want, reguardless of what the big heads want to sell. Besides. Masses control everyone. What about special circumstances. Shouldn't people decide their own fate, not the masses? Why stop at social equality? Reach for the stars!
As for the kids discussing shit on this website: Listen to the music and enjoy it. Don't have anything nice to say? Don't say anything...cranky fucking people.
Americans have no right to talk about freedom!! Their nation is built on occupied land. They are dictating who has the right to have nukes and they are still the only nation to have used them. They dropped more bombs in vietnam than all bombs used in WWII. And now they deploy troops all over the world to protect their economical interests. "Do as we tell you or else.." shut the f*** up and give the "indians" back their land!!
MonDieu72, I'm surprised that a Swede would feel that way. Re the USA, by now we all have Native American blood in our veins. How can we give ourselves back our own land? One thing we have done regarding Natives who didn't choose to intermarry is allow them exclusive rights to build casinos. It lets them rip off the non-Natives who come lose all their money. I think it's a revenge thing.
I see you are very passionate about nuclear weapons. How do you feel about biological weapons?
For those that don't understand the idea is unification by people that care no matter where you are in the world the internet has brought the freedom we know in America to every country in this world and their learning from it. The idea of freedom is now blowing free like the wind no matter where you are. The Scorps get it do you?
to malang I grew up near the end of the Cold War. I was 10 when the Wall tumbled. I feel as much as I respect Obama He's leading the world down the same path as the one we've all traveled by giving in to the russians and dismantling the Missile shield.
I said it before and I will say it again; America wanted that wall to come down only to eventually subject its own people to the same injustices that the Soviet pact nations were inflicting on their people. America does not want any competition. I see the winds of change coming to America, and it is not the freedom that people once fought for.
You are obviously a product of our government education system - read a book ever so often (one without lots of pictures) - You Voted for Obama right?
Actually no, lol. I did NOT vote for Obama, and that was part of my point. He stands for the communist way of thinking; which is why I said that I have seen the winds of change in America, and they are not good. I am actually self educated, and way far above what the public education system could ever give me. That is also my point. The public education system is communist. The whole thing I meant was that while they were gaining freedoms, we are losing ours.
freedom when it fall to into the hand such as yours it will flourish, 'cause i see that you are wise and educate yourself of how to use that 'freedom'. but feedom is also dangerous 'animal' when it fall into the hand of unwise person, me perhaps, because human/people want is endless, without boundry. so some of us, people, get together and form a collective thingking and create man made boundry, which is law. law govern people's act so that everyone freedom will not over power each other
anything can change it. it's impossible. and that song didn't want to change anything. it's a tribute. some kind of tribute. it's beautiful and it have to show us what can we do. and we can integrate to each other.
communism rose as an answer forautocratic system of government that has gone bad. the system preffer the wealthy and ruling society most than the commoner. the first generation eagerly accepted and embraced the ideology, but overtime, abuse, coruption and manipulation conducted by the very people ' incharge', communism gone bad, very bad, worst than autocratic system. so communism hasn't live up to its promise, and yes it's not good.
no sé inglés pero la primera vez que escuché esta canción me hizo llorar, ¡es tan hermosa!, ahora veo imágenes y es más profunda aún. Amo a Scorpions.
Communism hasn't died yet. It's just downsized. Put in a more managable proportion. One day it will rise again if many of us hasn't done a good job at explaining why communism was not a good philosophy, at any level of human interaction, be at private or government, specially government, to the younger generation. Hope you, all of you, the next generation won't experience what many of your parents, uncle, etc, experience.
Hi! I think it's Elena Ceausescu's execution, I'm not sure, but I have seen that video when was the ten years anniversary of the so called revolution here in Romania.
I like how they intersperse images of the fucking band and their concerts (and their "fans") with these images of important current events, effectively fucking scuttling the message they're trying to impart with torpedo after torpedo of unwarranted self-importance.
We are at the end. We change, but we just change the past into the present, with music movies etc... Barely anthing is new these days. Just recyled things, just for quick money, ring tones stupid dance songs, more dancing, more puff daddy influenced remixes of bull. Its sad. Its like we are devolving.
I'm sorry you feel that way then...there's so much changes in this world. You're not that wrong though, but still, it's unfortunate to see things that way in my opinion.
I wouldn't go quite that far, Trackerman. But it is true that government in general finds their job much easier if people have less liberty. That has always been the goal of governemt: reduce liberties as much as they can, as long as the people don't riot. America had a good thing going at its creation, but it has changed. Now, we must attack vigorously any attempt to reduce our freedoms by todays politicians. Don't be paranoid, but don't be gullible, either.
How to do it in these day on age , how not to be paranoid yet also not be gullible, because trust, believing of someone honesty and integrity of their 'believe', is the back bone for this ' not to be paranoid and not be gullible' idea. because trust among human has been none existence. so what to do.. where, or who to trust nowadays.. everyone is an expert of something... have you seen those 'expert on CNN.. talk about ' intelegence'..
It is funny that when the U S was telling the Soviets to give people more freedom the U S was actually trying to take those same freedoms away from its own citizens. The U S does not want any competition when it comes to suppressing and oppressing people. May be why the U S helped to bring down the Nazis; the U S did not want any competition. As an American I see the winds; and they are not good. America is the beginning of the end.
i love this song so much because every place he talks about i have been to gorky park, the river moskva. I was born in russia and moved to america when i was 7. My dad was american guy who had a buiness trip to germany but decided to visit russia where he met and married my mom, so if the berlin wall hadn't been torn down he would have never been able to go and met my mom and i wouldn't be here!
I love this song listened to it every day when i was a kid!
The song express the feeling at the time. The fall of Berlin Wall was the height of and the end of Cold War. Now, the change has been in progress for over a decade, what have we done so far? Any progress.....
The wall coming down after so many years was so moving at the time. And that lone student protester in China, that stopped the tanks from going into tiananmen square by standing in front of them. Will never forget that.
So true em0drumz...but by chance if someone is able to revive 'the wind', will it be a breeze, where feeling calm and secure and satisfy are produced or will it be a typhoon wind where chaos and disaster followed. And who, would brave to do it.
right now I don't think anybody is. I just finished reading Fahrenheit 451 for the second time and now that I get it, I realize that society today is slowly moving towards that future. Sometimes I feel like we've already come to that future except the first ammendment still exists

communism rose as an answer forautocratic system of government that has gone bad. the system preffer the wealthy and ruling society most than the commoner. the first generation eagerly accepted and embraced the ideology, but overtime, abuse, coruption and manipulation conducted by the very people ' incharge', communism gone bad, very bad, worst than autocratic system. so communism hasn't live up to its promise, and yes it's not good.

1:56 ella no es elena ceaucescu; ella fue ejecutada junto a su esposo. Estos soldados tienen rasgos físicos orientales.

i never thought i will ever see romanian flag in one of the scorpions video. That's the moment when communism died!
Amazing song and video that will live forever.

Does anyone know what is going in the video at 1:56? It looks like an execution, but I have never seen the video.
I3lindMan 2 years ago

What a bunch of kraut-eating tools.

We are at the end. We change, but we just change the past into the present, with music movies etc... Barely anthing is new these days. Just recyled things, just for quick money, ring tones stupid dance songs, more dancing, more puff daddy influenced remixes of bull. Its sad. Its like we are devolving.
shaner310 2 years ago
I'm sorry you feel that way then...there's so much changes in this world. You're not that wrong though, but still, it's unfortunate to see things that way in my opinion.

I frakkin' love this song--still beautiful to this day.

Great song, by the way.
jpheitman1 2 years ago 4
