  • Most impressive work! I'm a newcomer to Zentangle but I love it, & I intend to study your work--and learn from you! One question: what is the circular green device you used and what does it do--and how?

  • @suayres That circular green device was something that I found at Michael's in the drafting area. It has various measurements on it and allows me to make circles. I don't know what it is called because I tossed the packaging without looking at it. =(

  • i love the incorporation of the faces in the zentangles!

  • Did you get a youtube partnership?

Congratulations, you get paid for your videos.

  • I love your work....keep it coming ! Thank you !

  • Hi Deb, I love this journal! Nice Girlie Girls! Love the Zentangle work-that's the style I started doing back when I started teaching myself art & drawing! Love it! Take Care, Debi

  • @ArtbyDebi I have recently gotten addicted to drawing all over again. I was hooked on it back in the 70's and 80's, wandered off into all the other mediums, and now I'm living and breathing with an ink pen in my hand. Isn't it fun?

  • I like the pages at minute 2:21

  • @somechick73 thanks for watching! i just thumbs up on your latest video

  • @debcoart Thanks hun. :)

  • what do you call that medium? what paper is that?

  • @jirasakura this is a pen and ink zentangle. It's actually done on a board book....a children's board book coated with gesso. In one of my earlier art journal videos I show you what one of the books looks like.

  • I used to use rapidograph pens. The problem is they are very high maintenance.

Ooooh I hate that when an ink isn't permanent.

2:15 I love that kind of work.

  • @bowlingballout Yes, they are. I used them first back in the 70's when I took my first pen and ink class, and they were constantly clogging up on me. It's very frustrating to have your pens stop working in the middle of a drawing. Had to soak them in some solution, clean it all out, yada yada. I'm sure the ink technology on them has improved, I hope. But because of that experience, I have never tried them again. If I remember correctly, they were expensive, too.

  • Awesome!

  • @artglue2 Thank you! much appreciated.

  • Fantastic!!! Tfs.

  • @debbiehayslrtte Thank you Debbie!

  • Really beautiful stuff. I haven't used the prisma markers myself, but I picked up the 0.04 for a friend, she really liked it too!

  • @GlompoFie I was pleasantly surprised by how easily these ink pens write compared to my Micro pens. I don't know what they put in the ink, but it flows very smoothly....like some of my gel ink pens. They just have to work on the Permanency, however.

  • Awesome as always Deb! I always love watching your vids....you make me happy! I am loving being a member of the Mixed Media Workshops NING too!! Keep everything coming....you make us all happy my dear! Love & peace! Lisa

  • @ltwieland Lisa, you have made my day! Hugs and kisses to you..xoxoxoxox

  • love the black and whites its like the pattern changes make the shading to add depth nice technique

  • @67kneil Thank you, sweetheart!

  • :)

  • @WolfenSpeak Thank you, my wonderful friend! I appreciate this very much!

  • Yay you're back Deb! Great zentangles! Can't wait to see more and more!!

  • @LoriBug22 Hello sweetie pie and thanks for watching. I've got another mermaid that I am working on, but she's progressing very slowly now because I am addicted to these dang zentangles!! What's new with you?

  • @debcoart Oh well I wanted to let you know how many compliments I have gotten on the girlie girl that I won in your contest a while back :) Everyone LOVES her!

  • Would LOVE to give those pens a try... I have the Prismacolor Pencils. And they are beautiful.. Its a shame I'm not using them right now.. to heavy into sculpting.. You Been well? Thumb up for Prismacolor!!

  • @TheBroodingTom Tom, your sculpting is so outrageous, I can see why you are doing that rather than drawing! CONGRATZ on your partnership! Well done on that! You certainly deserve it!

  • @debcoart Wooo... Nobody caught on yet, lol.. I should do a front-flip in my living-room, Rofl!! Problem is, last time I did something like like that, I was in my teens!! =P Oh! I know you love Drawing, so I wanted to let you know I got a High quality Slide -show, of most all my work in the past 10 years.. (I rarely drew)... its "different" but I hope you like it!!! +D

  • I love yur art work & yur fabulous!!

  • @fancyladydiane1 thank you, beautiful girl!

  • This is byfar my favorite, tfs-hugs.

  • @craftdiva99 oh goodie!

  • wow, it's look pretty cool.

  • @jonderwan thank you!!

  • Your zentangles are really some of my favorites ... you create such wonderful designs and not just rambling ... I like that:)

  • @MamaMichelesArt well, i think i'm rambling, but if it's not bothering anyone that's good.

  • i love listening to you talk, your voice is so calm and relaxing :D

and that looks marvelous. it also reminded me that i promised a friend i'd draw her a dragon, so i think i'll go do that now :)

  • @Maryangel24 i had to laugh when i read your comment about my voice being calm and relaxing. i have 2 ex husbands that would beg to differ with you! heheheheh of course, i wasn't doing art when i was married, so i was basically a lunatic.
