this car doesnt have a/c does it? and is it really worth getting it? cuz im thinking about getting one as my first car but is it too expensive to fix it up?
@Zdravo1Nino sorry. I'm never on YouTube these days. It does have an ac and heat. It also has automatic Windows believe it or not. Depending on your budget, and the cars condition, It could be expensive to fix up. Im lucky in that the engine on mine didn't have much wrong with it. New carb. Some hose. Fuel filter. Stayed under a grand there. But since I'm completely rebuilding the interior its going to cost me at least 3g's to get that where I want it. It just depends on the car.
You might have a very early '77 check the vin ...the '76 stering wheel was a hold over and some orange engines went into '77. Please do not change the red interior. Get the correct door panels it's to nice to mod. If you want to mod a Vette get a beat'n one! I'm in Dallas and have an early '77 white and red , 53k miles with no side flags and the chrome center steering wheel . # 4228 out of 49,000 in '77 . Your car is too nice to change MHO
@tokaiguy3 the origional engine was blue, painted it orange. i have to say im not impressed with the paint. so i see a re-paint in the near future. il keep in mind your suggestion, but my father is funding the rebuild as a family project, and he wants buckskin brown. so the interior will more than likely change. i cant stand brown inside a white car so the paint will have to go im afraid. any suggestions for a different color, assuming i dont keep the white?
