  • i never knew the benefit of any of those items and i surprisingly have all of them just lying around the house :)

  • Awesome!

  • great video. kept my attention

  • why do you have to keep it in the frige?

  • The aloe vera juice is expensive if you buy from like whole food or health food store for a small container. Go to Trader Joe's (if you have one) and buy a 1 gallon container for $7.99

  • do u have to keep it cold?

  • It's cold now and I wouldn't use glycerin It takes moisture from your hair and add to the environment...I found this out in Chem. class! FYI Great Vid.

  • Htp SIS EXCELLENT VIDEO VERY MATTER OF FACT LOVE IT...I AM TRANSITIONING NOW AND I FEEL U ON THE DRY HAIR TIP...WILL TRY N LET U KNOW MY RESULTS.

  • tku,sis you're vid is amazing i'm watching you,all the way from belgium.lol

  • I just bought all three for 11 dollars on amazon

  • the only rose water i can get is artificial. can i still use it?

  • great video :-)

  • Do you put this in the fridge?

  • I also live in Jersey and have bought many items from the Health Store in Newark. I bought rosemary, peppermint, lemongrass, and aloe powder for my homemade spritz.

  • Kinda wish u put the ingredients in the description box

  • Do you use the Mane N tail Detangler????

  • thanks so much..I was looking for something like this

many reviews about each product as well

  • Oh my my yes hun I have tried this....just a tad different.....I didn't have the aloe vera juice I had the gel so I didn't not add that...but I do have the rose water along with distilled water Glycerine (which I think is the cream of it) and I add a tab of my favorite leave in conditioner.....ITS THE BEST!!!!! ....I will try the aloe vera juice once I buy it.....

  • Just a heads up Vitacost.com also sells these products (except Shea Moisture) and I believe they are much cheaper than wholefoods.. I only know from purchasing them myself and not pay more then $15... =)

  • @deepsista36 same here

  • This sounds good but would like to have ballpark amounts...

  • can you use aloe vera gel too?

  • Thanks I can;t wait to try your recipe spray for my hair. P. S. Love the video as well.

  • Just subbed

  • how do you keep the aloe vera juice from going bad?

  • @ashantirae It has to be refrigerated after opening. So if you add it to a spritz it will have to be stored in the fridge. I hope that helps!

  • and everyone, if you live in dry climate like i do i live in texas... don't put glycerin in your hair! read about it. it's going to make your hair dryer than it is because its supposed to absorb moisture from the air air thats why people have sucess with it..but if you live in a dry climate its absorb moisture from your skin turning your hair crunchy. just a warning.

  • aleo vera is a protein (hidden) am i wrong or not?

  • Hey Shlinda1!

I just became a beautiful dreamer, but a relaxed dreamer is what I would like to stay on my hair journey. However, I do have dry scalp and hair-- I was wondering would your homemade spritiz be a to heavy for my nugrowth?

  • Sorry typo meant spritz

  • I do agree the sprite is essential with natural hair. I've been natural since Aug 08 and its done wonders for my hair.

  • I just made this spritz......can't wait to use it tomorrow after I wash my hair....I added some rosemary essential oil...I hope I didn't mess it up.

  • Haha! I just went to the wholefoods in Maplewood yesterday! Thanks for the great info.

  • Thanks for this reminder...yes the products are a must in my current hair regimen....I can definetly use "moisture" which I have figured now... decreases (MY) breakage when my hair is well nourished...and is the key to "maintaining" length....Love your vids...Thanks 2 You....(FYI: Yes I will remember to balance with Protein treatments)

  • thanku!

  • Oh my sista, you re so great!!!!!! i do like this video..., i m going to buy these products today for real! thank you for your advice! kiss

  • hey shlinda, where do you get your head scarves???

  • I haven't used the ingredients together before but I have used aloe vera juice mixed with water and rosewater (as well as the rosewater and glycerin mix) on separate occasions to find them both moisturizing. So I'll probably be trying them soon. The current mix I'm using on my scalp is aloe vera juice, water, tea+peppermint essential oils. It leaves my scalp tingly and my new growth moisturized!

  • Did you get all three from Whole Foods?

  • @jessicajade3 yes i did.

  • I have been using this method for the last 30 days and I would agree it is a must for any hair actually...I also drink aloe vera juice 4 times a week.

  • I'm going to try this..thanks for the info

  • i dont get rose water or aloe vera juice in jamaica...watelse can be used????

  • @britei1

Aloe vera gel can be used as well. If you can find the gel.

  • @britei1 : u may be able to find an aloe vera plant, then u can cut the leaf & squeeze out the gel. There is a YTube vid on how to do it -i don't rembr her name, but do a YT keyword search. She also shows how to reduce rose petals to make the rose water as well. Hope this helps.

  • @britei1 You should be able to get the pure aloe in Jamaica, don't they grow over there? and you can make your own rose water, because roses should be growing in Jamaica too. girl get creative. You can also try going to the health food stores in Jamaica, it may be a bit pricey. hope that helps

  • Love it!

  • Hey just thought id let u know...a refridgerator in your room can really increase your energy costs. Especially if its nearly empty because it has no food insulation to keep in the coolness. Beer fridges and small fridges are rated as some of the biggest energy suckers when considering how much you actually use the fridge

  • @beijosparavoce lol, thanks

  • @beijosparavoce, I also have a fridge in my bedroom and I keep it packed with handmade (I don't like to say "home made" lol. ) products. My fridge is a great investment because it extends the shelf life of all of the butters, oils, spritzes, mixes and opened containers of products, especially if the products are preservative free. I also have a lot of boutique butters like Oyin, Qhemet, ect. I can freeze these items when I'm not using them.

  • Thanks for sharing your view point. I was thinking of getting the ingredients when I saw fgrogans video. I am definitely going to get it now (today). Thanks.

  • GREAT!!!

  • Yes that moisturizing spritz is great. I use not only on ng but while in braids I use I as my braid spray. And love I learned about on k.i.s.s biz from Tracyee.

  • Thank you shlinda for sharing, I will definitely try this out for my dry hair!

  • Which video of nina's was this on? I want to see how she uses it aswell please.

  • @poupeejolie not nina, fgrogen.

  • This is so unfair. I have looked for this shea moisture online and no one delivers to the uk.

  • @sheenafly i live in Ireland and I order all my natural products from iherb.com.must find there shea moisture.use my referral code KEB068 for 5 $ off on your first purchase.DHL delivers in two working days but if you have patience you can choose another way.take a look.I get everything half price than here
