  • I got chills watching this.

  • We are the next generation, we have the power to change this! Starting with this awareness...great work.

  • Does anyone know the name of the song playing in the background?

  • Save the Girl Child,

Else ur son will be, GAY

  • I salute you

  • I survived, but my sisters did not. What a powerful statement. Amazing job on this video.

  • Does anyone know what language the girl at 1:44 is speaking in?

  • @dhanjal1995 She's speaking French:)

  • each of this facts were so jaw dropping it was ridiculous.

    i want to change this.

  • Ya Allah. I wanna cry every time I look at this, but I am glad they have made many others aware of this issue.

  • i know i may sound like a douchebag, or a nitpicker, but its supposed to say 1 in 4 girls ARE sexually abused before the age of 4.

  • @CHOHAN67 No, you're wrong. It's correct because the subject of the sentence is "1 girl" and saying "1 girl ARE sexually abused before...." wouldn't make sense, but saying "1 girl IS abused..." makes sense. I thought the same thing at first because it sounds weird when you say it, but that's a little trick my 7th grade teacher taught me.

  • @dhanjal1995 Its funny how your talking about grammar to such a video thats talking about inferiornist. Get a load of the bigger picture and leave your punctuation skills to the books.

  • @gpandher6 Who are you to tell me what I can talk about? Oh, and by the way, not it's 'its,' it's 'it's'

  • wats supposed to come outta this though? no dude from moga gona b like ok i watched this fuk it im gonna stop, u wana make a difference, go down there n talk to the dudes, n change their thinking process so that they can understand wat they're doing is wrong, good video ya its informative, but it aint rily makin a difference, those nubmers r gona stay the same, word up

  • @PunjabiTillWeDie

    Its a start

  • @PunjabiTillWeDie The point is to make people aware of this issue. To take action upon themselves that is happening - not only in Punjab, but in our Punjabi community around the world. Not only do we need to educate our brothers but our sisters too. It starts at an individual basis, then community and globally. Our community is dying - if that's not going to change a person's mind on this situation, then I don't know what will. You have to start somewhere - education is the first step my brotha.

  • So sad to hear this I never knew of this before...........

  • This is now in the Video Spotlight of the Sikh Philosophy Forum. SikhPhilosophy [dot] net.

I have personally been highlighting this problem in my blog, The Road To Khalistan, for years. In fact, I consider it to be the biggest issue facing the Sikh Qaum today, both in practical and moral/spiritual terms. Guru ji will never let someone from outside destroy us; I am not sure if he will protect us from destroying ourselves.

  • hii, i am a guy a real guru ka khalsa a sikh and i really respect those girls to step forward and raised there voice , a grand salute to them ........ i message to every one is just love ur child. do not discriminate between boy and a girl.....

even i am a boy but still i personally believe girls can do much more better than

boys.... hope there would be a day when there will be a girl for every boy

WAHE GURU JI DA KHALSA, WAHE GURU JI DI FATHEE

  • really disappointing. people say we are proud punjabi but this make me feel ashamed of ebing punjabi.

  • RIP to the sisters who did not survive <3

  • we must remember that EVERY individual in our society is our responsibility, especially these women

the solution lies in the education of the masses, i hope that's what you guys are aiming for

  • this is only happening because someone is letting it happen.... how many more facts till we realize it needs to STOP.

  • Pman0012 those are some extremely powerful words I like that

  • Aye, a mad world it is my friends...Just help others as much as you can and always be respectful to one another, that's the best you can do.

  • What is gonna happen on April 23rd? Hopefully it's not one of those events where people with signs wait on a sidewalk and hope for someone to blow their horn and then pat themselves on the back. Get a grip. That's not how you get change. Almost half of these people who murder their daughters are outside of the United States... Out of them 2% don't have a computer with Internet and can't watch ur videos. Send a letter to an official of china or India or Any other country that suffers from these

  • @hustler1593 It's actually a workshop event with Dr. Harshinder Kaur, a female doctor from Punjab who focuses her research on female foeticide. It's an event to spread awareness and educate youth on this topic.

and just to add, there have been many protests and rallies that have made a difference, even if it's at a smaller scale. But if it's not your thing, that's cool too, just respect the people that do use their voices for the ones that couldn't.

  • 1 in 3 women are abused by their partner .. 2 in 3 women beat their partner

  • everytime i watch this it gives me goosebumps ! wow !

brothers and sisters come together on April 23, lets put a stop to this madness!

  • EVERYBODY... PLEASE COME HELP AND SUPPORT

IM GONNA BE THERE FOR SURE :D

  • This made me cry. It's so hard to believe that such inhumane acts still happen.. I survived, but my sisters... did not.

  • As a guy I'm sad.....but as a human I'm dissapointed
