Also remember Belushi and radner are dead (though belushi never really liked him) and Murray and him weren't friends. Steve Martin and Chase are friends and it was something that he and martin short did a short taping for him. Akyroid is the only one really missing I think, but after "Nothing But Trouble" they probably figure its best to stay far away from each other.

Some people have allowed themselves to be conditioned to believe that swearing - in itself - is automatically funny. It isn't. This roast segment comes across as incredibly harsh but it utilises outstanding subtlety and irony. Colbert uses a form of satire more scalding than hot acid. Brilliant execution, in both senses of the noun.
