Yes, he's also correct about the Kings of the Basque, Garces (Garcia) who is also my family. Yes, the Irish Y chromosome is the BasqueY (male chromosome !). This is the Kings of Navarre (Basque) and Garces who is at the root of the Royal families of Europe (Aquitaine) and Aragon !! Castile/Leon. This is MY FAMILY, both roots. My Spanish grandfather confirmed this. He mentioned 13 Kings (of Ireland) but I think my mother means 13 kings of Europe. Something lost. My grandfather born 1903. Andalus

He's correct my grandfather from Spain born in 1903 confirmed his family considered the Irish their extension, both throught he Royal family of Aragon and Castile, and in a manner still fuzzy and lost to family history.

The same legend is told and retold both sides of the Cantabric or Atlantic shores.Recent investigations have vindicated it as the truth. This explains the deep afection between both peoples. God bless Ireland forever! They are our long-lost brothers.

Pre Celtic Ireland was Hamitic with links to Egypt. Spain was 'down the coast' in a coast traversing society. Celts created a myth that their bloodline was also Spanish - the Milesians - so as to be more acceptable rulers of the native Irish people. When the romans scouted the coast of Ireland they called the natives of the south the Iberni because the short stature and dark features were similar to what they found in Iberina (Spain). Iberni - hibernia - Ireland, we are named after the Spanish.

Maybe in Galicia the Galicians believ they are similiar to the Irish... Spain is divided into regions all with diffrent origins. This man seems to forget the Seubi kingdom in Northern Spain , and the Visigothic kings of Spain. Celt culture did nothing for Spain only in the imagination of the Irish. Who are closer to their brothers the Britons.

There is an interest, bond and affection for Spain amongst the Irish that is difficult to explain. It's just something that is there deep in the heart.

We have the same feeling about the Irish. My sister has a pub here in Valencia called O'callaghan. Spanish people enjoy Guinness beer.

I'm American of Spanish descent as well. My father was born in Cuba and his grandparents immigrated from Spain. I think they were from northern Spain but I'm not certain. These videos are fantastic!

That's because the Tartessian Celtic tribe, one of the oldest in Celtic history, is indigenous to southern Spain.

All of Spain was Celtic at one point or another. And the Tartessians did settle Ireland too as well as the Galicians.

How do you get that the Tartessians where a celtic tribe? There language is unrelated to celtic languages. Everything that iv read or heard states them as non indo european. Do a little research buddy!
