Your problem is the magazine, if you would have used a KWA/KSC magazine the gun works perfectly normal. I have the JG and I have a KWA, both function exactly the same with the KWA magazine.

the problem with your gun was the slight rail,

when you insert the mag and it will push the slight up further and it will miss the trigger mechanism

you can pull the valve by using like plyer or long nose then try to charge it back..

chances are the selector switch isn't broken. it can only be switched when the slide is racked. and if you buy the gun from red dragon airsoft . net, you can get the KWA recoil spring for just $10 extra. don't know if that helps in the UK....

it seems that the firing pin is to week to push the gas button all the way......thats why it fires with out the mag.....try getting a ksc lower reciver.....this may solve your problem

I don't know about the rest of the problems with this gun, but reviews i have watched of this, kwa, and ksc versions of the glock all say you should only move the selector with the slide locked back.

I have exactly the same gun and it does not work when you just take it outside he box and ry to shoot..I just stripped it and lube it with silicone oil ..everything that moves inside the gun and i mean everything ..especialy triger is litle bit tricky but you can fix it ..mine fires semi very very good ..and sometimes when firing fullauto the hammer doesnt work very well and it releases all the gas out ..SOMETIMES! ..not everytime!

the problem with the JG G18c is there was A LOT of lemons. At Red Dragon Airsoft(i'm the owner of RDA) only 2 of 10 JG G18cs I got in worked. the 2 worked fine, of course not as well as the KWA but the KWA is discontinued so it would do, but when you have an 80% lemon rate....yea. That's why RDA doesn't carry them anymore. Also, you have to push your trigger forward, some of mine did the same thing

i got one. fuc*ing crap. dont do it. i work on all my guns and this one cant be made not to suck, and if it can then you would have spent so much on upgrades u could have just bought the KSC/kwa. i lubed every thing polished parts, twicked everything i could. I replaced the hammer spring with the one out of my m9 that fixed the clicking/ fireing problem but now the mag does not always lock back.the hope up shoots all the way to the sky with .28 and turned all the way down. and now the mag leaks

It's the hammer spring. In some models it is weak. I've found mine to be fine that came into stock at Red Dragon Airsoft. got 5 because I was skeptical, but as I said. They seem to work fine. Obviously KWA's are better but they have been discontinued in america so it's either this or get an AEP
