I don't see why we (fans of the show) don't just make their own ending. I mean, it wouldn't take that many devoted people right.
hell if people can make their own games with just a small team then why can't people just make a few final episodes. just look at the Black Mesa Source team they're remaking half-life 1 with new graphics and models.
