his abilitly to act and act in singing is not matched by anyone since midler's first album and early concerts. that ability to make you laugh and cry and raw talent.. his intensity has lasted longer than any of the divas he's worked with, but i have to hand it to lupone. she tours constatntly trying everything. so accessible. god bless her.
