Two girls here at my deskset at work went to this and they're still gushing about Kings of Leon... one of them loves them. The other girl spoke about Ghostland Observatory, she said it rocked and the UT Band came up and jammed with them... That sounds fun!

This video fucking rocked! And the tamborines thrown into the audience! I would have loved to have caught one (and I probably would have burst into tears).

This version of Slow Night, So Long was electric. I have got to get myself to one of KOL's concerts, stat.

I think he/she meant that the last record kind of sucked, and the one before that was kind of mediocre - and that he preferred the first two and is glad to see them returning to their root sound with the help of Eddie Vedder.

If that was his/her intent than I'd like to second it.

Exactly. I have been a fan since day one and still am. On the contrary, the latest album is too pop/rock. Four years ago, Dave Grohl and Ed Ved were talking this band up. Now, people finally got on board after four albums and remixes are talked about by J. Timberlake and Lil Jon and that is just lame. Doing the Slow Night collaboration again with a real musician lets me think they are getting back to the true fans' requests and abandoning the fans that just give a sh** about two songs.

Well this wasnt the first time that they've been on stage with eddie, and just because the radio overplays 2 songs and makes little girls ginas tickle, doesnt mean the kol ever turned their backs on their fans, roots or soul.
