Hi, Im trying to install snow leopard on my mini 311 1000nr, with f.15 bios. I cannot find BootCD-altPS2 anywhere. BootCDvoodohda, says cant mach kernel. What should I use, or where can I find altPS2?

I know it might be weird but the us store also offers just a wifi version of broadcom wifi.... Do you think it might work.... I think the bluetooth is the problem... Not the wifi.... Because there is this kid on flickr posting a video where his card actually works... But he never says if its a stock card.... And can u do some more videos on performance.....loke 1080p, 720p movies, youtube 1080p stream if it works..... Stuff like that and would u recomend overclocking the atom?????

dude when i try to search the cd booter..... this file...... HPM311DP_1109GA.iso ....... i cant find it online....im trying ro convert hp mini 311 to use snow leopard...... but nobody is doing a tutorial on how to?????....... can u please help me out...... please????

Would it be possible to capture a opening Folder from the Dock? I wonder if it doesn't stuck on your 311, too. Though I converted the ION LE to an ION the Graphics Performance within OS X seems to be NOT as flowing as on my old Mini 10v. =(

It isn't stock WiFi...

The stock WiFi is a combo b/g WLAN + BT which doesn't work under Snow Leo. So what I did was got a Snow Leo compatible one - that of an HP Mini 1001TU. And then, to still get BT, I transferred the stock card to the extra PCI slot.

Hey Maurien, are you very sure that any stock WiFi card wont work? cause their are 4 combos...one with 802.11g, another with g Wifi and BT, one with 802.11n, and another with BT+ 802.11n???

isn't their any stock combo that works??

@simarpreet911 Hi, i've just installed snow leopard today and discovered that my wifi WORKS!!! and opened the back lid and saw that my broadcom label said bcm94312hmg not hmgb (becaussemy 311 doesn't have bluetooth) So, you were right about the combos. By the way it's a Hp mini 311-1033CA from Canada. Cheers.
