Unfortunatly your both wrong... Mangni-Fi is the original writer and singer so this song is the original... Crush 40 later became primary song writers for the hedgehog series and made a remake of the song..

APPARENTLY crush 40 originally wrote the song but another song for Magni-fi (who did this version) had already been picked for shadow the hedgehog

Sega felt bad so they had Magni-fi cover this song and put thier version in the game instead
