Non Ozz People may not know, but the Masters started in the early 60s and were an Oz Supergroup by the mid 60s, they were as big as the Easybeats by '66/67. All from Adelaide.
This band was never appreciated except in Australia and New Zealand. These musicians deserve more props and notoriety on US radio stations as well as XM/Sirius. It's about time radio stations start playing their songs.
Yes I have a couple of friends that would go and see the Masters whenever they're in town and they always comment on how accommodating and nice he is to talk to.
great tune,that chord run shows up in a lot of places. saw the masters do this live on a reunion tour, and i think doug ford do it solo at the storey bridge hotel a few years back

I love this version. Much smoother than on the album. It reminds me of "The mexican" from Babe Ruth.

I'd say it would have to be about 1971.

Really?? Cos the drummer doesn't really look like Colin Burgess.

@Highland45
Definitely is Colin.

Aren't there more bands near the early 70's which sounds like this?
sinning1966 2 years ago
@OzTvAgogo It feels like they were influenced by Grand Funk Railroad (Into the Sun)

Where are you accessing these clips? I know many A.B.C. videotapes were reused (erased). People would pay good money for much of this.

Just got them off tv over the past 20 or so years.

Another beaut piece from Choice cuts, seems like the studio mics are out of whack on this video aswell.
Love the music anyway. Progressive Hardrock of premimium quality.
