    Thank you for the comments explaining the rhythm changes. I watched the 9/8 section in part 1. I had already viewed the women's 9/8 dance. These are lovely dances btw. Thank you for posting.

  • Karsilama/Antikristos means "face to face" when translated from both Turkish and Greek.

    The name derives from (and is more relevant to) the dance and not the rhythm. :o)

  • Karsilama is usually 9/8 called sometimes antikrystos. I am confused why this is karsilama? Does it also have another name?

  • Hello my friend these is the thirt antokrystos which is2/4.the first and forth are 9/8 and the second is7/8
