@MrWill1985 I have my own run. On 152, I had Westside Elm and Patrick Henry High School. On 77, I have Garden City Elm and Patrick Henry High School. The High School runs are different on 77 from 152.
The last bus I rode was a 2007 IC bus. It was out for about 6 or 7 months because it had the computer shift system & not the manual & the cpy locked up & the bus wouldn't chg from neutral so then we had a 1996 Amtran bus. Its rare to find Bluebird buses where I am, only IC & Amtran is all you'll find & a few Thomas buses. Maybe 2 at a school line up of about 30 buses.
I think its cool that you all actually have your route # as the number of any bus you drive. For Georgia its so confusing because they have just the bus number & some times no route number & if a driver has to have a sub bus they have to announce the bus change vs looking for the route number. We did have route #'s here but not sure why they stopped. My schools were so large that it would have been great 2 have vs looking for 1 bus out of 35+ buses for a school of 1800+ students lol!
you know i almost failed my CDL test because I didn't know what that black box with the red top on it was... haha. i have the same bus, 2009 though. Turns out its the oil for the steering box...
Do you have your own run or do you cover runs for absent drivers?
