to sanitarium09.The quality of a weld depends on several circumstances(the quality of the workpieces, welding wire, the accuracy of the fits and the properly setted parameter list).Obviously if not any correct technology at the front of welding robot that wouldn't produce quality results...The most important:this tecnology is based rigourosly on the accuracy! This metod must be assured for the quality robot welding.(Of course as same significant the presence of a expert too for the success:))
hello, can u tell me if there is any kind of software with witch i can simulate my fanuc programming ? I wanna learn the fanuc software and have no hardware to test, thx
I use these same robots everyday. They're nice if you need fast repetitive production, but I'll take hand weld quality any day over robots, assuming you have skilled welders of course.
haha. i took an older one of those apart last year. the arc looks a little off for the one on the right. it fluctuates too much, but without seeing what it was set on i cant be sure. there also what type of transfer it was doing. good job on programing those things. me and computers dont really get along too well.
Man what speed did you have those set on. They are moving way slow. It looks like our old Cincinnati Milacron robots welding. If you want to see some speed check out the Motoman XRC. That's what we have here and they are sweet. But as always sucks programming the "two headed monsters" But I LOVED the video nice job of programming
The robots were running at 10-15% because this was a temporary setup designed for demonstration purposes. We also feature Motoman welding videos on our website.
Yeah the company I work for I pretty darn sure we have bought a few robots from you. I really like seeing videos like this so I can tell my friends what I actually do. I would take video of ours welding but Hill-Rom doesn't like that kind of thing. Thanks for the video again guys!!!!!!
good video but crank your J air points up to 4500ipm 100%cnt100 n make those babies move!

are these robots program in G-code?
Valtomotive 3 years ago
Thanks for you question!
They were not programmed using G code. These Fanuc robots were programmed using Fanuc Teach Pendant Language.

Program them as rig welders and send them over to my job site. I could use some production with out complaining like local low quality slags.
