To be completely honest, I think the only reason they don't show his Devil Trigger is because they are unsure of what it really looks like.

In DMC1, his DT changed depending on the Devil Arm he had. In DMC3, it showed his most accepted DT. In DMC4, it was a modified look from DMC3.

It could be that at the time of the anime, the team was unsure how his DT would actually look, and that it would just be an explosion of orgasmic awesomeness!

The quality was great, but it gets boring by the 7th episode or so when is just 10000 shots and credits.

The Rebellion is a keepsake sword that Sparda kept for his son, Dante, before his death, and Yamato too for Vergil.

the action scenes involving rebellion last a few seconds tops ffs! and its only 12/13 eps long ya woulda thought they could put more time into action sequences with that...especially for a hack and slash game!

Dude This anime actually made me interested into DMC game. Without this I wouldnt be interested into DMC. But you have a point, you can enjoy DMC more if you dont know about the game much.

But what made me angry is that when DMC4 came out they messed it up, because in the Anime Dante was more calm and Dark but in DMC4 he was still that Dude guy. You can tell that anime takes place before DMC4 because

Lady and Trysh already know each other. This anime was based more on DMC2.
