Peter Jacques proved years later that he was the master in the Italo sound in the mid 80s as well as in the disco sound in the late 70s. Played this song to death back then.
this came out in the 80's didn't it? i don't remember it, but i was only in the business 77-80. i don't ever remember hearing it, unless lance @the anvil played it at 8am.
Who'd a thunk that this minor disco act would have lingered into 1985?
The tight, well-arranged cut speaks for itself. It was just good enough at the time to bring a wan smile to people like me who had all but left disco for dead, and everything having to do it.
Isn't the real singer! Paul SLADE is

Weird... the album cover looks almost like the Illuminati symbol, with the light-skinned guy's hair as the cap stone.

I like this Peter Jacques Band song. It reminds me of a LIME song. Thanks for posting.

This is definitely one of the best Italo Disco classics ever, but hey, Malavasi is a genius...

Sounds like a lot of contemporate electronica. Futurecop! Anoraak and a lot of others come to mind! But the original stuff is still excellent!
