  • Shadow is the undead father of Chun Li, Dhalsim and Bison!

  • LOL at 16:20 he's blocking the bullets! Most stupid thing I've ever seen in a fighting game xD

  • After seeing this I remembered why I don't like music of the Amiga games.

  • Your video is a favorite on Cyprus

  • Fakir background music is like Gigi D'agostino :)

  • lol cody the gay steel mill worker

  • This video went viral on The Gambia

  • Ehi i want these fighter for MUGEN!!!

  • the best beat'em up for Amiga!

  • 10:09-Look at the rug. The katakana says "Fabio". WTF?

  • Is Lee Chen the protagonist?

  • sviluppato a messina!

  • 25 : 22 hu hu hu ATTACK !!

  • Jurgen got thrown out of Village People for being too gay.

  • This was actually one of the best Amiga beatem-ups ever. I prefered this to any Amiga version of Street Fighter (I think there were a few).

  • 27:20 Ryu's son?

  • that was on hard? psh too easy..

    this game blows

  • I wonder if this game would be turned into cartoon/anime.

  • @Rakiarmas

I mean what kinda cartoon/anime could be done from this game.

  • @Rakiarmas an anime of this? hmmm, sounds like a good idea :-)

I think Toshio should be the main character though.. you know like a underdog sort of story line.. well thats what i think anyways

  • @redzool

Good choise. Not bad at all.

I would prefer Electra as an main character. It would be a search story like a searching her long lost sister/brother or killer oh her family & quest turn out to be larger than she ever though out to be.

  • A trully fantastic game and by far the best beat em up of the amiga. it captures the atmosphere of the 90's and the gameplay is awesome!

  • I love this game :D my favorite character was Toni who looks like man but in the end scene he turns to be woman lol this was shock for me XD if i good remember .

  • oldgames.sk/mag/excalibur-43/page/14/ iwanna always play this game. in that link is magazine of computer games, which in my youth i had.

  • Man I loved this game when I was a kid, never thought I'd be looking it up again as a 30 year old man...

  • u may say that game is crap now but that music !!! still fucking awesome

  • why do all amiga fighting games have shit collision detection and the inability to string moves together like a jean claude van damme fight

  • why do all amiga fighting games have shit collision detection and the inability to string moves together

  • LOL This game was the bomb

  • Comment removed

  • Looks like a copy of Street Fighter

  • @tomaszkajor what 2d fighting game isn't ?

  • @sanuka, Many of'em are different, e.g. Mortal Kombat

  • @tomaszkajor well mortal kombat is shit so who cares right?

  • Best amiga beat'em-up for sure! Everything was perfect, graphics, music, coding (fast loading time from floppies!) and gameplay. Love it!

  • I like the part when he does the flaming kick!

  • lol slam dunk

  • Salvador is awesome. TURNS INTO A FREAKN PUMA! ROAR!

Definitely the boldest fighting game on the Amiga that I played (and lets face it, it wasn't made for these types of games) Body Blows a close second.

  • I agree a great fighter game on Amiga, one of the few games where you can almost feel the punches and kicks connecting, great stuff.

  • Best fighter ever on Amiga, great job fabzcipz and your other 2 friends :D

  • @krensauce thanks man! ;)

  • Thanks man! ;)

  • This is so awesome video!

I have watched this one many times. Game seems like a really good one. Liked really much of the character's style.

Thanks for making this video. Hope to see more. :)

  • The song that plays when you start fighting Salvador is awesome! *w*

  • IMHO, the best fighting game on the Amiga.

  • There goes Mr Slave :D (Yurgen) My fav character was the slime-guy :)

  • The cd32 version of this game is the mutts nuts, its basically the same only the music is even better!

  • Nice nice. For me it takes around 30 min. too. I have simple amiga version, I see you have AGA one. My fave was Manx when I was a little girl :D hey! Do you know that Toni is a girl ?? .__. His ending really disappointed me...

  • wtf.. Charles barkley vs Bruce lee with a headband!? XD

  • for me Toshio was the best ;-)

  • No cheating!

  • Sorry to letting you know, but in this game I am the best!

  • @sed3ak

Relax! this isn't fight club.. >:(

  • @sed3ak

puppazz is fighting with you in practice mode :)

  • so many fond memories of this game from when i was really young. i used to love it!

  • My favorite always was Elektra. She's just great!

  • Hi, I bought recently A600 and got this game :D

but never heard of it before :) looks like Lee Chen is a male counterpart to Chun-li from Street Fighter :-)

  • great game! I remember that I used always Toshio :)

  • Yurgen - Halt ^^

  • that game was great. great music, stages, players (salvador, krhome, kury, fakir).

I always want to have Tonis jacked

  • I liked how they took the piss out of Shaq from Shaq-Poo and turned his character into Slamdunk which actually made him better overall and in a better game too. lol.

  • whre you get that game??

are you recording it on pc or amiga??

  • Read our channel FAQ :)

And its recorded on PC via an Amiga emulator :)

  • an epic game, as good as MK2, with great sound and music too

  • fantastico !!!!

  • That's a STUPID comment.

    Tried playing it?

If a game is well developed, the one button limitation ISN'T a problem.

Shadow Fighter has a GREAT playability, and many moves to learn.

  • The only thing crap about the great AMIGA was they promised us sequels of their great games like Puggsy, Shadow Fighter "As seen on here" and Mr. Nutz Hoppin' Mad and we never seen them "Must Not Read" matey.

  • anyone know where i can find a list of special moves for each caracter?

  • I think "hol abime net" has it :)

  • mortal kombat was way better on the amiga

  • No way!

    This was Much playable!!!

  • the real best fighter in the game was Shadow - a secret character for which you needed to type a special code at the Options screen

  • Well of course he's the best, he's the final boss. =P

They made mincemeat of him in this video, though.

  • Never played this game since I never owned an Amiga, but it has some great style! Cool graphics and sountrack, and I love how the announcer says "You win!".

  • Top Knot was the best fighter in the game in my opinion, great combos and powerful strikes! awesome game anyway!

  • Fakir is the best lol ,I like play him but he is too sloww

  • Lezka sie kreci..........

  • good, old times!

  • The soundtrack ruled on this game

  • If you think that AMIGA had only 4 channels, and the game divide 1 channel for SFX and 3 channels for music... these great songs in 3 channels... WOW!

    Best italian game ever.

    (NAPs Team are italians)

  • Man!!!!! Learn how to fight with the finesy. One move will not do the problem. I'm playing with the Toshio and I use a plenty of special and normal moves. You don't impress me.

  • when i was playing this game i was like 6-7 years old and Toshio was my favorite player :P

  • Lee Chen from China wears a japanese flag themed bandana. And the basketball dude is from... Denmark?

I wonder what they where smoking at character design.

  • Actually it says Italy. XD

Lee Chen from Italy wears a Japanese flag bandana.

  • @Shavarnarak Where did you see the japanese theme on bandana?? There isn't... Only a white bandana with dark hairs in front.

  • @Shavarnarak What were they smoking you ask? Baby back ribs. XD

  • I love this soundtrack...

  • quite boring when you defeating every hero with one combination

  • Is this the Standard or AGA version ?

  • AGA version

  • Wow! I would never have expected to see a character from Denmark... wtf?!

  • There's one from Pakistan ! :P

  • Toshio, he was my favourite character :)

  • The only time I ever played this game was on a demo I borrowed from a cousin have loved it ever since. Good to finally see some flown blown gameplay and hear all the cool background music.

  • I'm not sure, but I think that this game was made by Italian guys..anyway it technically was a miracle ..look at the parallax system in tha fakir stage..really impressing.

  • yeah n.a.p.s. team (Fabio Capone and Domenico Barba), are from Naples (wich is where i'm from too btw). great game, probably the best beat em up on Amiga, too bad they never had the chanche to do a sequel, nor to publish the already planned "special pack" for sw. (an upgrade version with

    new backgrounds and larger roster).

  • I thought they were from Catania, actually.

  • nice looking game. didn't know about this one. by this time i think i had the cd32. i like that the characters can jump over each other. body blows looked better but maybe wasn't so playable as this one

  • Nice to see sagat and raiden at 0:26

  • memories... great music.

  • Is Slamdunk related to Ron Simmons?

    DAMN!!

  • I always wanted to get this for my A1200 but never got a chance!

Ok the graphics look cartoony and mortal kombat was more detailed but the gameplay was pretty good and much better than Street Fighter on the Amiga.

  • This was prolly the best fighter for Amiga, it put the Amiga version of Streetfighter 2 to shame and actually had a fair bit of gameplay once you got into it.

    Cheers for the upload.

  • Street fighter 2 amiga version had ONLY good music

  • I didn't realize basketball was so popular in Denmark....

  • Anyone know where I can download the MOD files for the music in this game? (not the MP3s)

  • Google for "exotica org uk Shadow Fighter" - you might need "deliplayer com" to play them :)

  • Well... too many memories!!! We made this game in 3 people! 1 coder, 1 graphician and 1 musician (me!) We sell more than Mortal Combat (40 people team!), our competitor in that period. Music are only 2 channels mode, the other 2 Amiga channels were for effects. So ONLY 2 NOTES of polyphony. Each song was about 15kb with sampled sound (not synthetized!) in .MOD format. Now the game looks crap...but 15 years ago was amazing! Thanks for posting this video... it makes me cry!!!! :D

  • Wow! Thank you thank you thank you for this game!

  • This was the best beat-em-up for the Amiga ever and was amazing on the A500. You obviously put a lot of thought into the gameplay and attention to detail. The parallax was excellent. I don't think it looks crap, it still looks good. Thanks for making it, but whatever happened to the add on datadisk?

  • Thank you so much, I mean the music from this game (and so many other amiga games) stay in my memory. Today, I am a composer myself. Thank you.

  • Now the game DOESN'T look crap!!!

    Siete dei GRANDI!

  • @fabzcipz Amazing for an Amiga game or amazing generally ? 15 years ago the Sony Playstation was getting released and everyone was gearing up for 3D graphics and not to mention 2d graphics had also improved on Sega Saturn and PS1

  • @fabzcipz wow you made this? i loved this game when i was a kid, especially the puppaz character!

  • @gimpnipples Hi! I just worked on all the music.We were only a 3 guys team! :)

  • @fabzcipz

Wow its awesome to read comments from the actual development team :) 1 thing I always remember about the game was the music and sound effects. I loved this game. The tibetan stage where your fight Kury was my favourite music in the game. I love the pan pipes. Also the breakbeat style intro music was great!

Great memories from this game so I thank you! :)

  • @fabzcipz Your game is amazing on the amiga, but I heard (HOL) that the game was

    Made with 14 people !

(with Some Gremlin staff, Ade carless and Patrick Phelan for example)

  • @janmansde3dede Hi, the origianal group was made by 3 people: me (Fabio Cicciarello), Domenico Barba (coder) and Fabio Capone (graphics). Once we sold the game as Na.P.S. Team to Gremlins interactive, they put on it a whole crew to follow the project. Patrick was involved in the on game sounds effects cause the one we did in the demo release were "grabbed" from other games! But I can assure you that the music for both "floppy" and CD 32 version are all made by myself! Ciao

  • @fabzcipz

La Capcom poi per creare Fei Long sembra essersi ispirata al vostro Lee Chen :)

Complimentoni per il vostro mai troppo apprezzato lavoro,Italians rulez !!

  • @fabzcipz How did you manage to get so many layers of parallax for the floors in the game which are literally on every scan line giving such a fluid effect?!. I only really saw that in a couple of other Amiga games with that being Elfmania and Lionheart!. Of course, as you know though compared to your game, Elfmania had terrible game play.

  • @fabzcipz Ya, only because Mortal Kombat was rushed for the amiga, but let me tell that MK is alive unlike this shit

  • @SuperDave341

All the MK coinup version of the game was good. But, on Amiga it was unplayable! So, Shadow Fighter was better than MK, so as Street Fighter, on Amiga. THen, if you consider that the MK team/production was composed by more than 50 people with a movie budget, while we were a 3 people team, without money, supported only later on by Gremlin on the project! I think that the result for Mortal Kombat was... shit!

  • @fabzcipz "Now the game looks crap" ? Are you kidding ? Even now this game rocks ! Great graphics, code and sfx ! The code is pushing the Amiga 500 to its limit.

I read somewhere that the programmer did all the coding with a 1Mb Amiga ? Is it true ? I guess he used Asmone as he looks like a demo coder ;)

  • Definately one of the best fighting games for the Amiga. Really, this is how the Street Fighter games should have been on the Amiga...

  • Too bad this was for amiga only... :(

  • well great game for its time but now its littlebit heretic:) I played like mad when i had amiga long time ago... great vid thx for memories. too bad that no one done a remake of this great title for ps2 it would be a great piece of another 2d game to my collection, well maybe someday...:)

  • lee chen vs soria, is it possible to get the soundtrack for that?

  • Yep you can find it at: amigamusic com :)

  • YOU are a LEGEND

  • This is definitly the best fighting game for amiga. I used to play it for months :). It has great graphics, great music and the gameplay is so damn smooth.

Its much better then the Mortal Kombat or anything else for amiga.

  • You lot, check out Fightin' Spirit! the only true beatem up on the amiga. I only discovered it a few weeks ago and it easily beats the rest!

  • Fighting Spirit (another ITALIAN producton!) was better in graphics but less playable than S.F.

And, at last, Shadow Fighter IS and WILL BE for ever the best Amiga Beat'emup

  • this game was awesome

  • The graphics are just average. I prefer Elfmania in this respect. The tunes are very nice and the sound effects do their job fairly. What makes this game unique is the programming technique, really awesome. I don't know how many colors they could use, but with better graphics this would unquestionably be the best Amiga fighter ever.

  • Try to finish it with Toshio :P

  • Definitly one of the best amiga games ever!

  • best fighting game on Amiga.

  • I remeber that game but I not play a lot.

  • slamdunk sounds like he's saying damn when he hits you

  • This is actually a very good (if not the best) Fighter on Amiga.

  • Toshio and Toni were da best, also Elektra + Shadow if you knew the password! This was THE best fighting game on Amiga THANKS FOR UPLOADING THIS!!

  • YOU HAVE TO TRY BODY BLOW 1 & 2 for Amiga, of course.

  • Body Blows series is SHIT.

    Slow, unplayable games.

Ugliest Amiga games ever, no matter if the graphics were pretty good.

  • Compa', ma usi sempre la stessa mossa!! è faciel cosi' :)

  • hehe. kickass music

  • Paraponzipopo is all I have to say. Well that and maybe Mbarividisocafarimbari.

  • nice game too! i think it was the forerunner of Street Fighter.

  • nice...gremlin made some cool games. ^_^

  • figata questo gioco

  • more fantastic memories. they don't make em like they used to!

  • omg the memories lol cheers mate for puttin this up
