I'm guessing you used a 12" rollout (which is acceptable for 1/4 mile times, aka shallow staging), but cuts .3 off a 0-60 run. 0-60 with 0' rollout is likely 4.2-4.3. Sorry.
Its just a beast in a sheeps cloth. 6.2 is bigger then the some V12 engines. Kick the paddle and it just takes off like rocket try once on street you will be shocked. IS THIS REALLY A SEDAN?
farthest from the truth, the fact that almost all amg cars are bored out sister engines of their normal cars is sad, amg has lost their glory days of dominating in dtm and what not. I love some in a wow factor (like veyrons) but the fact is that they are porkers that rely on huge brakes and supercharged engines to move their fat asses. But dont get me wrong their impressive and I'll always like them , I just wish bmw and mbz would get outta these hp battles and just start making some real cars.
I have to say, I sat in a new E63 the other day, and it was so nice, yes there is some plastic, but what else are they gonna use? Unless you wan the car to weigh 5000 pounds. Also, everything was solid, and just felt so nice, it felt like a 95k car should.
they have alot more torque and torque wins races horsepower sells cars . i bought a e63 and once i found out the torque difference boy did i get pissed !!!!! but stock ive seen alot of e63's beat the e55's on the 1/4 runs but i think its due to the 55 not being able to put the power to the ground . A pully change on the supercharger and the 55 goes right into supercar status .
Malak you dont know what you're on about. Paper Boy it's just a superstition, enhanced by a fake video on youtube. On paper the E55 has more torque, but in reality it's not even as fast as an M5, whereas the E63 is quicker.
oh okey, yea cause i couldnt understand why a 5.5L would be faster than a 6.3L, but its true, the 63 does have more horsepower so i kinda thought he knew what he was talking about with the torque thing. thank you for correcting him :)
the e63 is a beast, i met a e63 on the road yesterday and he got me not by much from 0-80 he had about 3/4 of a car on me and from 25-90 i was kissing his back bumper so i don't feel that bad...but i need to make my s4 faster unfortunatly i had the boost at 20psi so maybe it would have been different if i had it at 25psi but anyway it was fun.
Yes, it is 100% stock. But please note that the car does not do 0-60 in 3.9 seconds on a daily basis. On average, the car goes 0-60 in 4.3 seconds. In 100 degrees summer, we could only get 4.4 seconds. To get 3.9 seconds, we did the following:
you buy an M5 if you want the world to think your really fast, you buy an E63(P30) if you want to actually go really fast. M5 does consistently 4.5-4.7 runs, they cherry pick the numbers they advertise with, unlike Audi and Mercedes which are modest.
C63 with the p30 package does 0 - 60 in 3.8 seconds, faster than a cts-v

- 1/4 tank of gas or just slightly less
- Fairly good condition street
