this was a collar remake of this the 1934 donald was in the 34 a verry longer peck and he was shorter the mickey now its changhed to make a remake

The only thing different is the visuals and animation. The voices and music is EXACTLY the same from the 1934 version.

@neoprankster I think it was because of money issues, not to mention the animators' strike going on at the time as well as World War Two; they found it cheaper to just remake an older cartoon nearly frame-for-frame and recycling almost all of the original soundtrack rather than create a whole new one from scratch.

@wilek209 There's one difference in the soundtrack from the original, though. In the original at the end Donald says "Aww nuts" while in the remake he says his catchphrase "Ah, phooey".

also ducks are too rich in that universe. Scrooge is a billionaire, Donald has all sorts of stuff, and Huey Dewy and Louie are obviously spoiled. In their first appearance anyway. so ducks are upper class and mice are lower-middle class. and mickey STILL wins.
