This guy has the best statement so far IMO - I really got annoyed working around journalists who sat around waiting for the "official" story to come from sources that amounted to PR departments of corporations and did not have any interest in the common man/labor/consumer angle to stories. It was most ridiculous with Katrina. Every citizen who endured it had something more tangible to share than the "official" story.
When the President call on the reporters by their first name, there is no real journalism anymore. It is idiotic to think that "We The People" don't see it for what it is.
