they are now here in berlin at the fashionweek. saw the show yesterday and it was one of the craziest things i've ever seen. awesome!! you guys should watch that live. indescribable!
My plan for the night was to see Fuerza Bruta and then find a place to go dancing. The show begins downstairs in the bar with a nice scotch on the rocks in my hand. The audience members are either complete virgins and excited, or have seen the show 3+ times and are also excited. The show doesn't make much sense at all. It is wicked fun to watch and immerse yourself. And it has lots of audience dancing throughout, especially at the end. I loved it!
Hi FB, thanks for picking out my date as agreed... but she didn't fall into my arms as foreseen, so next time could you bash some more boxes on her head? I'm sure that'll do the trick! We especially liked the time management of the show: everything followed so quickly that we still had space for some quality time at the beach. These advanced management techniques deserve a small increase in the ticket price, we believe. In short, it's a once-in-a-life-time experience! Great night though...
You need to go to this show with an open mind. Wear comfortable clothes, don't bother with jackets or cameras, yeah it's loud but worth it, plan to get a little wet. I'm an old fart, it was a very different experience, I really enjoyed it. Just go, see for yourself, it was awesome, I would go again!
Just saw the show tonight in NYC! A few things to keep in mind; be prepared for the VERY loud noises, the strobe lights which are crazy, the mist if you really don't like getting wet, and bass like you've never felt bass before. BUT, all in all, it's a very cool experience, and the water through plastic glass stuff is pretty awesome! Had a good time, just felt like I was going to need a pacemaker for the show so my heart didn't skip a beat with the loud noises, lol!
People who been to this I hear there's no seats but do you get pushed and shoved around ? Lol this is always my worry cuz I get clusterfobic how ever you spell it :p
As the New York Times so eloquently stated, this is theatre for people who don't really like theatre. If one could even call this meaningless train wreck theatre.
This is AMAZING! INCREDIBLE! Just.... WOW! I saw this a few months back and literally I'm still speechless about it! The atmosphere is just insane! And It's remarkable how you end up dancing in the rain for what feels like hours! GO SEE IT- all your worries will be forgotten!!
@DRKSTxROS3 i dont even know what the heck it means,it starts as if your walking into a rave.. one second theyre dancing in a barn, the next people are getting shot at and there are basically naked women splashing in water 7 feet above you. and then it ends with a strobes/sprinkler/rave party. like wtf
I was lookin' fwd to going so bad and yesterday i got the opportunity to go..i've got to say it was AMAZING. it was wild & so much fun. loved every minute of this. the cast and crew work so hard. my best friend and i appreciated & enjoyed every minute. will come again and tell all my friends.
I saw this in Buenos Aires, Argentina, last year. Simply one of the best experiences I've ever had in my life. I'm sorry I can't put the feeling into words, there aren't as many as I'd need to describe it.
They could have done more with it. It was repetitive. Was it a statement about the human condition? Was the wall the obstacles that we need to push through? Was the treadmill us as we move through life and the people and things we interact with? Was the pool the boundaries we keep? Am I reading too much into it? Maybe its just supposed to be an opportunity to get routy. I know one thing. They encourage you to let down your hair and get moving to the beat, and there's nothing wrong with that. :-)
They could have done more with it. It was repetitive. Was it a statement about the human condition? Was the wall the obstacles that we need to push through? OMG!!! My best friend took me to see Fuerzabruta for my birthday and its amazing. Im going to see this again. You guys did an awsome job. Cant wait to see this again.
i saw it in manhattan with my cousin and her friend. i am truely inspired. if you see stuff related to this in the future, know it's me. this is incredible
I am 14 years old and I went to see this on my birthday lastnight!! 9/25/10 IT WAS AWESOME..of course i saw it in NYC and it wasnt the same people but it was great..i loved dancing with the people in the show!
I've been lucky to have seen De La Guarda when it was running in NYC. I saw it actually 6 times. And again I've been lucky to have seen Fuerza Bruta. It was unreal. Truly remarkable! I can't wait to see it again.
This was truly an amazing show! I didn't even know what to expect and it was beyond anything I could have imagined it to be! And the interactive part of the show was just... very pumping! So energentic!
Agreed @HunterFett . People asked what Fuerzabruta was about and honestly I couldn't tell them. It's pretty much undescribable and the only way to know what it is to actually go see it.
I saw this show at the Edinburgh Festival two years ago. It is simply amazing. I was really hoping it would be back this year. The trailers don't do it any justice at all...being there in that atmosphere with the music and everything... it was just unbelievable (",)
I can't wait to see it again, please come back Fuerzabruta....
I just saw this show on Thursday and it was MIND BLOWING! I love how you're a part of the show and the cast interaction. I wish I had known you get wet though hahaha. I would have brought an extra pair of clothes so it wouldn't have been so uncomfortable after dancing in the simulated rain :D
ellos hicieron un espectáculo callejero en buenos aires donde pudo verlo toda la Argentina en su día del bicentenario y fue un espectáculo inolvidable
Do yourself a favor. Don't watch this show on youtube. Pay the money, and go see it in person. Nothing will compare to the experience of the live performance. The crew clearly have fun doing their parts, and the interactive experience is one that will stay with you forever. And if you get the soundtrack after the show, you'll be able to re-live it in it's entirety every time. Much love, Fuerza Bruta.
@HunterFett This is a great introduction to the show for people like me, who have never before heard of it. I just found out about it's existance via an Amazon review of the music. Still am not too sure what the show is about -- from the video, it seems a sort of Latino "Matrix". If so, this is great -- people should know the Truth! Sadly, I no longer live in NYC -- though my heart is still there, and every day, I tell myself I never should have left, sigh :_( Make a movie!!!!! : )
@BboyFranki3 It's playing in Union Square in Manhattan. Just take the yellow line train (N, R, Q) to Union Square/14th street and look for the sign. You can't miss it. :) I believe you can also take the green line, but I don't know the green line as well.
Muy buen espectaculo..!! Nunca pude por falta de money..!! una vez vi la publicidad en argentina pero no contaba con el dinero y la vez que vino a venezuela fue porque ya no habian entradas para los shows..!!
@kvhassfamily Not an official plot, no. It's very abstract, and the whole show is basically about what your interpre it to be. It's absolutely AMAZING though. The most fun I've ever had in my LIFE. :D Just make sure you're not hydrophobic. ;)

All tracks in the show were produced by argentinian techno-folk composer Gaby Kerpel. The one in the trailer is called Corredor Final. You can find it in the show´s website, there`s a music player with the whole soundtrack ;)
emocuti3 hey my brither i hope to see u in that show to because i am specting to go to that will be money realy well spend tat will be a expirience that u will tresure 4 the rest of ur life
I saw this show in London Roundhouse several years ago and seriously recommend it to everyone. Yes expensive but I am still talking about it years after! Edgy, wicked music, wicked concepts. Fuerza Bruta are AMAZING.
So amazing they have prompted my first ever comment on here.
I cam accross this show by accident, I was on a flight back from Italy and I sat next to them on the airplane !!! ( We all lost our luggage aswell lol) Anyway, They said go along, Got free tickets xD FABULOUS SHOW !!!!!!!
yeah, it's fine. the card they gave me when I got the tikets actually says it's only suitable for ages 8 and up. There's no intentional nudity (there's a sequence in the water with 4 girls and I'd imagine some slippage could happen...not when I went though).
yes.. theres no nudity or anything but if you go in wanting to make meaning of anything then its not the show for you. its just great energy and being in the moment.
Ok I saw the show in NYC on July 30th on my B-DAY OMG the Show was Incredibly DOPE!!! The Show WAS AWESOME!!!! AMAZING ENERGY FROM CAST AND AUDIENCE!!! I'm going AGAIN LOVED IT
went to this show with my Art-history class in Newyork- then saw West side story: Iwould have killed to see this again instead, and so would most of the class. It rocked
Miami - yesterday (aug. 1st) was my b-day, and my husband and son had a surprise for me. They didn't tell me where they were taking me...and I had no clue. ...I had no idea what it was nor what to expect... and let me tell you..IT WAS AWESOME !!!!!!
The music, the energy, the effects... it was
an experience'.
I've been to a lot of the Cirque, but you can't compare the two. Cirque is 'sit down & be entertained', ...this one you feel the emotions and you become part of the experience.
I am so glad that there is a video to remind me of the experience but there is no way that any desktop video could create such experience. You have to be there. Visual is only a smaller part of it and it is important that it doesn't come through someone else's lense, optical chip and editing. I suppose the same could be said about orbiting the Earth, and I've only seen that on a video, so I'm guessing that it is not different than flying by airplane a bit higher, though it could be. It just is.
what a show but the worst one I can believe there's so many stupid people in this world to even watch that, I didn't pay for the show and if I had I would've kill someone there, What a piece of shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yamcab, can you at least explain what you disliked instead of insulting everyone else? It looks like it has some merit as far as creativity from the video...I know I would be interested in seeing it and I do not think that makes me a stupid person.
Oh my, i just came back from this musical-aerial show or whatever this is!!!! i stood mouth open since the very beginning... Of course i went to see a show, first thing there`s no stage!!!!...Awesome!!! everybody flies here!!!...I loved it....
they are now here in berlin at the fashionweek. saw the show yesterday and it was one of the craziest things i've ever seen. awesome!! you guys should watch that live. indescribable!

I saw this show in London Roundhouse several years ago and seriously recommend it to everyone. Yes expensive but I am still talking about it years after! Edgy, wicked music, wicked concepts. Fuerza Bruta are AMAZING.
So amazing they have prompted my first ever comment on here.

is it appropraite for 16 year olds?
cheetahgirlsmonny 2 years ago
yeah, it's fine. the card they gave me when I got the tikets actually says it's only suitable for ages 8 and up. There's no intentional nudity (there's a sequence in the water with 4 girls and I'd imagine some slippage could happen...not when I went though).
symmetryx 2 years ago
yes i saw it at age 14 and my cousin with very strict parents saw it at age 12.
emuhlee233 2 years ago
yes.. theres no nudity or anything but if you go in wanting to make meaning of anything then its not the show for you. its just great energy and being in the moment.

TheYamcab 2 years ago
Yamcab, can you at least explain what you disliked instead of insulting everyone else? It looks like it has some merit as far as creativity from the video...I know I would be interested in seeing it and I do not think that makes me a stupid person.
