  • awesome

  • im a drummer and im in a band

  • Something about this scene makes me so happy...

  • yeah, it's back when TV actually HAD good shows.

  • Nick's my favorite because I relate to him. Except I play a guitar, not drums. I should of picked drums, it would have been more fun.

  • This was men i High School, I really did try to drum to all of Exit... Stage Left and my Dad did sell my drums!

  • my mom bought my first set of drums, she was always pretty cool about things like that. and my wife bought me my second set. funny stuff

  • this was my favorit intro to freaks and geeks

  • I love how jason segal does almost the exact same thing in i love you, man. freaks and geeks paved the way for movies like that

  • AMAZING!

  • almost looks like he get's the ride pattern down, lol. Long live freaks and geeks and rush.

  • The first fill he does, he looks so much like Keith Moon it isn't even funny. (The first thing he plays on the two cymbals)

  • This is one of my ultimate favorite scenes from F&G. My friends were goofy like this playing along to soundtracks, this scene is sweet and hilarious, just like the show.

  • One of the greatest openings of the show's history. Long live "Freaks and Geeks".

  • the moral of this video is to cut off every one of your limbs, sell them, and then have sex with everything with in a 17 mile radius

  • Love the way they fool you into thinking that he's really good, and then add the real audio and he obviously sucks.

Music teachers should show their students this clip to illustrate why hitting the right notes/beats doesn't necessarrily make you a good player.

  • Have I? That was only my interpretation of the clip. Just because it differs from your interpretation of the clip doesn't make it wrong by default.

I was basing the point of the clip off of the rest of the episode where Nick starts off thinking he has a future in drumming but comes to a crashing realization that he's just not good enough (at that point) to make it as a professional. I went through the same thing. That's why I love this clip.

  • Xamphear fails.

  • hahahahahahahaha your short reply made me laugh so hard!

  • Then enlighten us, oh wise holder of condescension and false wisdom...I've only been a devoted fan of the show since it's inception, so I'll leave the interpretation of meaning up to you. Forgive me, as I am ever so stupid sometimes. I forget to leave the job of explication up to smarter beings such as yourself, as I know the job of my own personal interpretation is certainly not better left up to me. I await with wide eyes and bated breath for your learned explanation.

  • what is the point? i want to know!

    freaks and geeks rocks.

  • Well then, asshole, please enlighten us to the true meaning of the clip..

  • Favorite video ever
