Ok, don't mean to sound negative, but this video wasn't helpful at all. It's not hard to set an ability to your buttons. That's simple. The problem I'm having is being able to use it on my raid UI. You know, clicking the bound button over a players name and it casting that spell on them without having to target them. Like with Clique.

Easier way is to just make a few macros for the mouse only use the healbot commands you done use.. IE SHIFT + Control + Click with no delays and remap to grid button 1. Tell heal bot shift control click is healing wave then 1 on grid does healing wave...

Theres some delay(1 sec) on when i release mouse button to when spell is cast.

Do you know how to fix this?

I bought a naga thinking it would help me get more spells with healbot, then realized it doesn't quite work like you'd think... this video is excellent though. It's basically just mouse over macros assigned to the keys, but since healbot are nameplates, mouseovers work on them (it's how healbot works to begin with!).

@nargarothfreak666 no it helps much better :) and the naga gives you these little brail sticky type things you can put on it to help remember which button is where so you get used to it. I could never play again without a naga lol.

I just got my naga for christmas, and i know the site says 18 hours to adjust, but im finding my fingers are cramping a bit, and the top 2 buttons by left click are mostly going to go unused.. very hard to reach and press without my ring finger hittin the right click also... do you use these 2 buttons? if so, what actions are bound to them? :)

@MrAsoran yea I don't use the top two they are too awkward for my fingers to reach without clicking other buttons by accident :( the cramping will probably go away if you stick with it, you'll wonder how you ever did without this mouse lol.

I don't understand how this works with 'heal bot'... or did you mean it works like a heal bot, instead of working with the add on healbot? that must be it, because I don't see heal bot referenced at all. thanks for doing the tutorial, but when the audio went out, I really didn't get what you were doing in the last part of the vid. I do appreciate the effort though!! thanks!

@ExperienceOfTheDay Yea it will work with any healer UI but after so many patches since this video was made im not sure it could be fixed and easier now, but before I wasn't able to map anything directly in healbot and I found this was the easiest way to let me still use healbot (cause im so used to it) ..but really it will work with anything like grid - vuhdo etc just using the mouseover and razer naga app to set it up.

@wowBritneyfears yes, after playing around with it a bit, I saw exactly what you were showing us how to heal, I think I was confused because in your sample 'heals' you used it by mousing over the NPC's on the screen, I see now that it works the same way mousing over the grid Player Targets in Heal Bot *or other grid type add on's I'm sure. So thanks for putting this up! it has made my Naga Mouse MUCH more useful to me!!

this video help me at first and i thank you, but! I HAVE FOUND AN ALTERNATIVE EASY WAY TO USE THIS MOUSE WITH HEALBOT. make a macro like this,

/cast [target=mouseover, exists] YourMoveHere

put the macro on your bars somewhere, then set the mouse keybinding you want to use to that macro.

like for example i use

/cast [target=mouseover, exists] Hand of Sacrifice

set to the 1 on the side of the mouse.

if you have bartender this is pretty simple, if you dont, go into keybindings in the wow menu

@ZehNinjaPanda since its not a dedicated spell and its a "state" it's more difficult you will need to make extra macros ...I've changed specs so I didn't try it but check the URL i sent to your inbox

it's so ez to program the buttons and it will do just about anything aside from your laundry
