Since you're all arguing about Stalin and Hitler without any sources, pick up virtually any of Stalin's biographies. He admired Hitler for a period of time until it became clear that Hitler wasn't big on 'sharing'. Then you had the Katyn Forest Massacre. In essense, Stalin had a little man crush and then got pissy about it in Poland and blamed it on the Germans.

@LibeRevolution Funny fact: They allied AFTER the soviet counter-offensive in Stalingrad and after it was clear that Germany would lose in the long run (lack of ressources).
SU could have won on their on - but it would've took much longer time and blood. This was so bad for Stalin - he was afraid of counterrevolutions in an unstable Soviet Union. So he accepted the help from america.
So pls get your facts right and inform about Stalingrad. Which was won without american or british help.

And I know a little about it because my family came from the Russian monarchy I heard how the communists killed my great grandfather only because he had a lot of wealth. And I also know from my parents how corrupted was the Soviet Union - let's just say that it was WAY outspread than corruption in the west...
And by the way Stalin was a mass murderer - even the Soviets themselves acknowledged that and taught that at the schools.

Even the united states for some time because in the long run communism would share the wealth of the country equally amongst it's people so it seemed as a good idea. Then Vladimir Lenin changed the definition forever. When people saw the Soviet Union and the way the government began ruling the united states began a propaganda campaign to "stereotype"

@VympelMarine Thats a load of garbage soviet propaganda, who covered up the great purges and the fact that 10 million died in the Ukraine alone when he deliberately starved them. That is the reason why they were at first willing to let Hitler liberate them, until he enslaved them of course. Just about every reliable text book in history says somewhere between 20 million and 60 million. A similar number is also thought to have died in China too.

Stalin almost lost the war because of his believe in his friend Adolf Hitler. Millions of soviet soldiers were captured in 1941, because ''comrade'' Stalin did not believed the reports about German troops mobilizing in Poland.
After 1945 those captured soviet soldiers who survived were considered traitors. Stalin is to blame for the German victories in 1941-1942. He is no hero of the Soviet Union he is a traitor to it.
