Sam and Jason dont have ANY heat, and I just dont get it. I see more hotness with Robin/Jason, still after all these years then Jasam. Or Jax/Sam when they had a story together and made love. Its like they are FORCING JaSam and I hate that. I like Jason, when he is his own person, but Sam isnt the one to make him that way. They are too alike, and thats boring. With Liz she was diffrent, and their affair was HOT. Jason threatening to KILL Sam was the end of any sexiness they had. That was sick!!!
@neetrab Thanks. I feel the same way about yours. I will say I dont get Jasam or their popularity. To me Liz/Jason has JUST as many fans, and they belong together. At least for a little while, because Jason seemed the sexiest, and most relaxed with Liz. It wasnt just sex, it was real for both of them, and its sad that its over. Because Jake is Jason's and he cant be a dad to him, because of the buisness. Plus when Jason threatened to kill Sam, that was disturbing, and NOTHING can explain it away
This is why Sonny is pretty useless, he never took the Balkan threat seriously, it was always on Jason to take care of it; Sam, Spinelli, Dante, and Lucky got involved, but not one bit of effort from Sonny. Sonny's biggest worry was Carly ruining the wedding, the Balkan didn't care about the wedding he wanted to abduct Brenda, and now that he succeeded, Sonny wants to yell, throw things, and make evil eyes, but at the end of the day, he is just going to order Jason to take care of it.
I agree that Jasam is now the IT couple. I base this not on what I see on my screen but rather from the fanbase, reactions and reponses. I get that the majority of fans love Jasam but as a returning viewer, I personally don't feel the passion or chemistry of Jasam. The genre has changed remarkably and again as a returning viewer it's very had to feel anything for a lot of the newer characters or current relationships as I am not seeing a lot of character development or good writing..

@ScrumptiousCupcake1 I saw S&B in their prime and the development of Jasam...sorry Jasam may be GH's current it couple, but they are not as hot as S&B in their prime. I think that's mainly due to the writing. S&B had the benefit of being created & written well from the jump. Maybe if Labine had created Jasam, we'd see more passion in that coupling...but it's not there. Both actors are definitely physically appealing but they are lacking sexual tension.
@Nx2brat I saw S&B in their prime too and Jasam also. Loved S&B but when Jason and Sam happened, it was definately hotter than S&B for me. I also thought the writing for Jason and Sam in the begining was great. they had some really great story. And wasnt till they threw Liz in there, and Jake and all that, is when it went bad. But I think they are hotter than S&B. I also think they had the best reunion, they did it right. Slow. I dont feel the sexual presence in S&B anymore.
@Nx2brat No couple on GH is hotter then S/B, and Monessa said they would be going back to the hot scenes when the Balken story is over. Jasam never did a thing for me. Sam and Jax were hotter then her and Jason. Liason affair was sexier, and I dont even like Elizabeth that much. I seen S/B since I was a kid and now as a adult, the chemistry is there when they are only together 3 minutes a episode. You cant compare because S/B havent had but 1 love scene, and that was meant to be SWEET not hot.

I like the characters Jason and Sam. I just don't see them as a true romantic couple. Jason portrays a mobster and is a macho type dude. I picture him being with someone with classic beauty and elegance. A gangster's moll...haha. I think the word I should use is statuesque.
Sam is just too tiny for him and they do not exhibit "passion" when they are together, they are only just "cute" together.

OMG.....Jason was just annoyed by the balken when he was after brenda but now he is going to do some real damage. @neetrab I am so excited about next week! I haven't been this excited since 92,when Brenda first stepped on the scene.I was in high school,and I used to run home to catch GH at three o'clock everyday. When VM came back in 02,I remember being at my sister's house when Sonny and Brenda saw each other at the church for the first time since Brenda assumed death. That was also a magical moment. The vent scene was amazing S&B are magic together.
@porklab You do seem to get on neetrab's case. I don't think she is so dramatic myself. Also, I was reading past comments and she doesn't say anything about hating Jasam. You do seem to pick on her about as much as I pick on Miss Mega..

Sonny and Brenda ARE legendary. There like Luke & Laura, Bo & Hppe, etc. Their love is over 20 yrs old. Let's check our #history. Although their story may have been botched this time around, they are trying to get it back on track. We cant blame the characters for how they were written...I'm not pleased with some of the things they've had Sonny do, or with this Balkan mess, but that doesn't take away that thy are a supercouple.
@neetrab i kno right! i mean it's simple. Not to take away from other couples but there is a difference between legendary SUPERCOUPLES who have a long line of history and memories together, and between those that make a good couple and could BECOME a supercouple. S&B are already in the category of "made its" because they're a couple that's known and can pick up where they left off because of the history they have. Their names alone are publicly recognized

I can't wait for the Sonny and Brenda scenes. Jason too will be amazing helping Sonny find Brenda. I too can't see a baby in the works just yet for Sam and Jason...things would have to dramatically calm down. Can you imagine if she was pregnant right now? If they choose to have a baby they'll have to make some changes in their life, she more so than Jason since she'll be carrying the lil' one.
This week and this promo are unbelievebly good. I feel like everything, the content, writing and especially the acting has stepped up quite a few notches. Seriously, Emmy worthy.
I love how storylines like this give everyone an opportunity to shine. You can really feel the love/commitment on screen. Especially after all of the VMG/MB (LOVE them) and the chats with the rest.

All the promos for the last half year, plus a good 80% of the show lately, revolves around Brenda and Sonny. I doubt that adding a few scenes of Jason and Sam will really hurt the Sonny/Brenda screen time. For someone like me who absolutely hates S&B, i'd like a little bit of something I do like on this show every once in a while. You're probably as big a S&B fan as I am a Jasam fan, so you can see where the problem lies. :)

Great week coming up so glad that they didn't do it like other soaps and have their sweeps at the beginning of the month. This storyline has been so long and so good it's good old soaps stuff. Some of you are judging JaSam as if you have been here watching to see ALL of it. They have a lot of history and they have been through what most couples could only dream about. So again I am not trying to attack anyone or get anyone to like Jason & Sam I am just stating the facts.

Ok I have been watching GH since before S&B have been a couple and I have never once missed an episode even when my favorites left so with that being said S&B ARE a LEGENDARY SUPERCOUPLE (even though I might not LOVE them )based on their history And love story I will give their fans that they are BUT I also have to add that many of you guys are RETURNING viewers . @ScrumptiousCupcake1 I saw S&B in their prime and the development of Jasam...sorry Jasam may be GH's current it couple, but they are not as hot as S&B in their prime. I think that's mainly due to the writing. S&B had the benefit of being created & written well from the jump. Maybe if Labine had created Jasam, we'd see more passion in that coupling...but it's not there. Both actors are definitely physically appealing but they are lacking sexual tension.

@Nx2brat I saw S&B in their prime too and Jasam also. Loved S&B but when Jason and Sam happened, it was definately hotter than S&B for me. I also thought the writing for Jason and Sam in the begining was great. they had some really great story. And wasnt till they threw Liz in there, and Jake and all that, is when it went bad. But I think they are hotter than S&B. I also think they had the best reunion, they did it right. Slow. I dont feel the sexual presence in S&B anymore.

@Nx2brat No couple on GH is hotter then S/B, and Monessa said they would be going back to the hot scenes when the Balken story is over. Jasam never did a thing for me. Sam and Jax were hotter then her and Jason. Liason affair was sexier, and I dont even like Elizabeth that much. I seen S/B since I was a kid and now as a adult, the chemistry is there when they are only together 3 minutes a episode. You cant compare because S/B havent had but 1 love scene, and that was meant to be SWEET not hot.

I like the characters Jason and Sam. I just don't see them as a true romantic couple. Jason portrays a mobster and is a macho type dude. I picture him being with someone with classic beauty and elegance. A gangster's moll...haha. I think the word I should use is statuesque.
Sam is just too tiny for him and they do not exhibit "passion" when they are together, they are only just "cute" together.

I see Sam as a little sister to Jason rather than a lover. When one enters a room and the other is there they just give a little hug and that's it, neither looks really overjoyed to see the other. No passion.

OMG.....Jason was just annoyed by the balken when he was after brenda but now he is going to do some real damage. Sam is his life and now he s**t is going to hit the fan because the balken didnt do his home work on jason and how you mess with his girl and you will die slowly and painfully this is so going to be good. not only is jason out for revenge but so is sonny and thing are going to get really hot now that they are going to be activly stricking back at the balken. @neetrab I am so excited about next week! I haven't been this excited since 92,when Brenda first stepped on the scene.I was in high school,and I used to run home to catch GH at three o'clock everyday. When VM came back in 02,I remember being at my sister's house when Sonny and Brenda saw each other at the church for the first time since Brenda assumed death. That was also a magical moment. The vent scene was amazing S&B are magic together.

Sonny and Brenda ARE legendary. There like Luke & Laura, Bo & Hppe, etc. Their love is over 20 yrs old. Let's check our #history. Although their story may have been botched this time around, they are trying to get it back on track. We cant blame the characters for how they were written...I'm not pleased with some of the things they've had Sonny do, or with this Balkan mess, but that doesn't take away that thy are a supercouple.

Not to take away from other couples but there is a difference between legendary SUPERCOUPLES who have a long line of history and memories together, and between those that make a good couple and could BECOME a supercouple. S&B are already in the category of "made its" because they're a couple that's known and can pick up where they left off because of the history they have. Their names alone are publicly recognized

I can't wait for the Sonny and Brenda scenes. Jason too will be amazing helping Sonny find Brenda. I too can't see a baby in the works just yet for Sam and Jason...things would have to dramatically calm down. Can you imagine if she was pregnant right now? If they choose to have a baby they'll have to make some changes in their life, she more so than Jason since she'll be carrying the lil' one.

This week and this promo are unbelievebly good. I feel like everything, the content, writing and especially the acting has stepped up quite a few notches. Seriously, Emmy worthy.
I love how storylines like this give everyone an opportunity to shine. You can really feel the love/commitment on screen. Especially after all of the VMG/MB (LOVE them) and the chats with the rest.

@neetrab Stop hating on Jasam. S&B are my fave couple too but people including myself also love JASAM you can like both couples. And S&B were legendary, they have to rekindle that for new viewers too. I love them and i think the last month they have, it was the initial couple a months where Brenda was made to seem to be breaking other couples up that hurt her but now its Her and Sonny which is how it should be!

@VinceNphilly Here was the misunderstanding "Hey S&B IS My favorite couple by a landslide, i hate the comparisons cuz couples are different. and the more you defend a couple and say they are better than another the more people just by instinct start to hate that couple." when iwrote this ididnt mean you as in 'you' but you as in 'someone' sorry about that

@neetrab You know I have your back.Sonny and Brenda have been on ET more then once,actually throughout their career.I could careless about what people are saying about Sonny and Brenda,Sam and Jason can't compare to the fireworks of S&B.Them two are exciting to watch and they don't need gun toting to pull you in.Their energy is off the chain.S&B have Charm,Charisma,passion.They are an emotional couple to watch,they never left me bored.Not once.

@neetrab People are trying to front as if Sonny and Brenda aren't that important,but look at all the websites,videos,and forums they have in their honor.GH plays special music just for S&B. I don't hate Jasam,but I don't really care for them. Sam doesn't cut it for me,she's just agreeable. But people like who they like. Anyway can't wait until Monday..SONNY GO GET YOUR WIFE!!!!

@lakeside321 -- Thanks for having my back. I can't believe people are acting like they aren't a great historical couple. I don't like Jason, I don't care much for Sam... I mean she's nice and all but that's just about it for me.. That does NOT mean I don't think they look cute as a couple. I don't think I put JASAM down for a while now... I don't know when's the last time I said they were boring.. maybe a couple of weeks ago..IDK. But yea, S&B do it for me all the way!

@neetrab I think JAson and Sam are boring my damn self.I can fall asleep on them two together.I do like Jason,I like sam too,but as a couple,they are bland.Lets be serious,they are no ANNA and Scorpio,that's for sure.Jason is excellent at what he does,but he's still like a stone in a way.IDK,but Iam not intrigued.

@lakeside321 - I was telling someone the other day that I can't stand jason.. The only times I like him are when he's nice to Brenda... after jason was in that car accident, i truly thought he was a jerk. Loving Carly..hating Brenda (for practically no reason).. and acting like he was Sonny all the time..LOL! Now he has DEFINATELY grown on me lately..but I don't know if I'll ever get to the point that I really like him. I just tolerate him now..he just urks me with what he says sometimes.

@lakeside321 - Sam is definately a nice girl... I don't really have much of an opinion about her except she's nice. And i DEFINATELY like the fact that she's not scared of cujo most of the time.

@lakeside321 - oh, and I have ALWAYS LOVED LOVED LOVED that they have their own music. THAT'S how big they are... I don't even know if other couples have that. Do they? IDK.. I can't really think of any...ever really. But of course I probably wasn't paying too much attention. Not saying no other couple are good for their audience..i'm just saying I loved that they have their own music.

All the promos for the last half year, plus a good 80% of the show lately, revolves around Brenda and Sonny. I doubt that adding a few scenes of Jason and Sam will really hurt the Sonny/Brenda screen time. For someone like me who absolutely hates S&B, i'd like a little bit of something I do like on this show every once in a while. You're probably as big a S&B fan as I am a Jasam fan, so you can see where the problem lies. :)

@CrimeDramaJunkie I understand but so many are S/B fans, and this has been 8 years, in the making. JaSam has had tons of stories! Especially when you dislike them, and prefer them with others. Its just as bothersome to us.

Great week coming up so glad that they didn't do it like other soaps and have their sweeps at the beginning of the month. This storyline has been so long and so good it's good old soaps stuff. To think it began 7 months ago with franco holding a pic of Brenda on a plane and now it returns with Franco in port Charles and the bomb
