I'm currently part of a clarinet quartet. We just participated in solo and ensemble and got a superior at the state level! We're a bit sad it's over, and we kind of wanted to continue on. I wish we could be like you guys! This is really cool!

street performing is very self-less and kind of musicians to do. it gives such a warm environment to a strip (rather than those stupid little speakers hidden in a bush). it is ALWAYS appreciated whether money is dropped in the hat/case or not! :D

This is terrific, but I find it saddening that people just walk by without even acknowledging that anyone is there. I think that people feel a little uncomfortable with street performance, and I think that people take music for granted in general. Personally, I would like to play in the street, but I don't know if I could stand it.

Belgium has some of the best Street performers in the world. You guys remind me of 3 weeks I spent in Brussels with a girlfriend when I was 17, the 2 things that impressed me most where the architecture and the street musicians. I was amazed by proffesional musicians seemingly giving free perfomances in public, often gathering large audiences. My girlfriend and I spent days admiring musicians such as yourselves. What a great summer.

Well, that particular day there was not so much people (it was a Wednesday), but in the weekends we had a large public - and the same people came back with children every Saturday! But there is some people in front of us, but you can't see them...thanks for you comment!

Great playing guys. It's so inspirational! I've downloaded the scores, shared they with my clarinet teacher, and am practicing so that (someday, maybe) I'll be able to "do it at home."

Have you seen the Washington Post article about Joshua Bell playing in the subway, "Pearls Before Breakfast"? He was largely ignored by thousands of people on their way to work. Googling for joshua bell subway will get a link to the story.
