  • 2:21.....is Paul doing drugs?

  • @PatrickTX100: OMG I never noticed that! O___________o

  • Well, for me "Within You, Without You" for merging East and West, and "She Said, She Said" for its amazing guitar work will always get my vote, or "Good Morning, Good Morning" for using 5/4 time and kazoos. Some of the choices here are cool, too, though.

  • I love "I'm Only Sleeping." Very underrated. "Helter Skelter" is one of my top 5 Beatles songs ever. "You Won't See Me" is VERY underrated. And "Rain."

And "Dear Prudence" is my favorite Beatles song of all time.

It's all very subjective, I know, but this is the best list I've seen of Beatles favorites or underrated songs. Good work!

  • 'Long,Long,Long' and 'Old Brown Shoe' are the most underrated Beatles songs.

  • You Won't See Me is a gorgeous song. So too are Girl, And Your Bird Can Sing, For No One, She Said She Said, Rain.

But Beatles fans will not regard any of these as under-rated because we love them, we know how good they are. By under-ratedyou must mean, "Not often played in the mainstream". Because everyone will have heard She Loves You, Yellow Submarine, Let it Be, Hey Jude, All You Need is Love. But unless you've got the albums, which the mainstream will not, you will not know these gems.

  • @MySeltaeb: Well said! :)

  • Lots of songs from the white album are under rated, like "Don't pass me by", "Honey Pie", "Sexy Sadie", "Cry Baby Cry", "Martha My Dear". Also a brilliant song from Sgt. Pepper's that is pretty under rated as well is "Being for the benefit of Mr.Kite!"

  • the funny thing is the underrated ones are the best.. even tho the overrated ones are great too! they have never made one bad its impressive.... except of course for the ballad of john and yoko

  • To me sexy sadie is a beautiful song.

  • @arregon: I agree... I am very tempted to make a Vol. 2. of this video based on everyone's feedback! :)

  • @MorbidBliss22. You definitely should - come on, there is just SO much great material in the Beatles' canon. We await your next instalment ....

  • @MySeltaeb: Good to hear! Always good to have a little motivation. ;)

  • Was helter skelter the first heavy metal song?

  • @Lansky73: A good question. It's always an ongoing debate whenever "the first" is mentioned, especially in the art field. That being said, I think it could be argued that it was certainly "one of" the first. Not to mention, many classic heavy metal musicians worshipped the Beatles: Alice Cooper and Ozzy Osbourne to name a few...

  • @Lansky73 I would have to vote for "I Heard Her Call My Name" by the Velvet Underground, or maybe "Manic Depression" by Jimi; those came out a year before "Helter Skelter". Shoot, even "Anyway, Anyhow, Anywhere" by The Who could be considered on the basis of attitude, and that came out in '65, I think. Lester Bangs wrote a great essay on this subject which you should check out.

  • after seeing too many most underrated Beatles list, Im now lost and seem to agree to all of them being underrated. Maybe there should be as many as 200 underated beatle songs

  • Love reading through the comments on this, guys! Over the years it's really fun to hear people's thoughts on it.

Plus, it's always good to know there are still plenty of Beatles fans out there! :)

  • mate u are a legend dear prudence is one of their best songs they produced :)

  • could it be that the song's who didn't make the list, are because of that even more underrated?

    something to think about :)

  • Here's my personal list of under-rated Beatles songs. #1:"Wait" #2:Hey Bulldog #3:She's leaving home #5:Martha my dear #6:There's a place #7:Rocky Raccoon #8:Think for yourself #9:The word #10:No reply This list is of songs that don't get enough credit for how good they are (as well as my personal taste). Of course there a lot of pre-1963 Beatles songs that don't get enough recognition as well. Also the Soldier of love cover the Beatles did was amazing as well and gets no recognition.
  • The whole Rubber Soul is really underrated, for me is their greatest album!!!

  • I LOVE GOT TO GET YOU INTO MY LIFE! :DDDDDDDDD

  • I love You Won't See Me. It's a shame that song went so unnoticed. I'd never heard anyone mention it until I listened to Rubber Soul

  • Most underrated = Tell Me What You See, Doctor Robert, Everybody's Got Something to Hide Except Me and My Monkey, It's All Too Much, Oh! Darling, Yes it Is, The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill, What You're Doing, Good Morning Good Morning, Not a Second Time.

    There you go.

  • dear prudence is AWESOME!!!

  • Most of songs from Rubber soul is underrated... personally that albums makes in my beatles top 3 albums

  • Long, Long, Long is VERY, VERY, Very Underrated!!!!

  • i love when john and paul harmonize on "i'm only sleeping"

  • "You Can' Do That" is my favorite underrated (rather unknown) song from The Fab Four!

  • where is "for no one" off "revolver"

  • Great list! Rain, Tomorrow Never Knows and Dear Prudence are among my all-time fav Beatles songs. Got to get you into my life and Helter Skelter are also great, Yes it is is a very fine song,it's really very underrated. The only one I never liked that much is The Word.

  • why oh why doesn't anyone have "i've got a feeling" on the underrated list? a great great tune....and yes "i dig a pony", mentioned by someone else, for sure!

  • @wowee1964 isnt it that they called dig a pony ive got a feeling themselves during practice?

  • I must admit during the last 15 seconds of Dear Prudence I started tearing up a bit.

  • Yes!! Long Long Long is AMAZING! I think most of George's songs in general are underrated.

  • I'm only sleeping is so underrated.. one of my favourite songs, it's brilliant

And I think Helter Skelter shouldn't be here... It awesome, but it's not underrated.. and I don't think Rain s underrated too.. I love it too btw

  • still, there underrated songs are better from 2days music. . .

  • Yes indeed, all of them are underrated, except for "Yes it is" that song is no good at all

  • hello goodbye is really underrated in my opinon and dig a pony

  • 0:23 i never thought id ever see that.

  • You must be reading my mind! But I think number 8 should be number 1. No, number 4 should be number 1!

  • You must be reading my mind! But I think number 8 should be number 1.

  • Not a single song is the same on my top 10 video, yet these are all great choices

  • again I've Just Seen a Face is extremely underrated

  • the beggining of rain kinda sounds like ticket to ride

  • "Magical Mystery Tour" and "It's Only Love" are two highly underrated Beatles songs.

  • Dear Prudence is my favorite Beatles song ever, and sadly, when people ask me what mine is, they usually have never heard of it.

  • 3:00 Thats the cutest pic of George ever! With the little kitty!!! :)

Condisering I only have 4 Beatles albums, and of the 10 of those songs I know about 4 of then, so maybe a song for ever album or something! I think each album of the 13 will have a least a couple of unknown songs on them.

  • I think ''Tomorrow Never Knows'' is probably the most recognized psychedelic song made by The Beatles.

Many of their other psychedelic songs didn't get that much attention.

Like ''Blue Jay Way, The Inner Light, Only A Nothern Song'' etc.

  • I love Martha my dear! And Maxwells silver hammer! A lot of people think Martha my dear is about some chick, but NO Paul wrote it for his sheepdog, Martha.

  • I totally agree with Rain and Yes It Is.

  • @afterrx3glow

Oddly enough Rain is a very underrated song by the Beatles,it never gets much press among fans and radio stations don't play it much etc etc, it was from 1966 and was their first overtly Psychedelic song and i made a video of my top 10 Beatles songs of all time and i made it my number 1.

  • Some of my favorite underated songs that didn't make this list are I'm a loser, blue jay way, old brown shoe, for no one(my all tome favorite McCartney piece) , don't pass me by, it's all to much, lovely Rita, and mother natures son

  • dear prudence is very highly rated i'm surprised its number 1

  • 1 for no one

    2 shes leaving home

3 i want to tell you

    4 rain

    5 you can't do that

  • @italianstalion04 GOD! You trying to correct someone because the got the oder wrong of UNKNOWN Beatles songs, you obviously know them if your trying to correct this person, if you dont know them, you dont know them.

Obviously you know these songs so you really cant talk

  • @italianstalion04 Im saying that your trying to tell every Beatles fan what Beatles songs they dont know.

  • @LonlyHeartsClubBand you're a moron i was only giving my opinion of what songs i think are the most underrated.

  • @LonlyHeartsClubBand WHAT ARE YOU SAYING?

  • @italianstalion04

Im sorry you think Im a moron, coz Im not, and we could probably get along coz we're such avid Beatles fans. But really, I just see the point in having an opinion on this.

  • I think Babys in black is one of them

  • every beatles song that isnt incredibly famouse is underrated

  • YES! RAIN!

  • Where the crap is Shes Leaving Home and Day in the Life?

  • @imnotanearlyriser

a day in the life is NOT underrated, but i must agree with you in she's leaving home

  • @winshinsin it totally is. A Day in the life represented a peak in the history of The Beatles. All the other songs that did that are household titles. people who dont know much of the beatles still recognize those tunes. This is not so for A Day in the Life. Maybe not as underrated as these other songs, but it is still underrated.

  • @MrGuitarCookie11

yes, it's underrated by most people, but a couple of months ago i was reading an article of the beatles best songs and a day in the life was considered the BEST.

  • These songs are under-rated because, it means you hardly ever hear them, and they are just as great as the more popular ones, if not more so !

These are some of the ones that should get more credit for being great songs and heard more often:

    I'm Only Sleeping

    If I Needed Someone

    The Night Before

    Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight

  • your mother should know and mother natures son?

  • Wonderful songs and pictures.

  • OMG i have to agree

  • 1 her majesty

    2 wild honey pie

    3 revolution 9

    4 dig it

    5 maggie mae

  • I Agree With You Awsome List!

  • I'm only sleeping" is by far the most underated song. Other's aren't so underated, they're quite well known. Some aren't that good but all in all a good list.

  • woah helter skelter isnt very under rated any metal song is pretty much a tribute to beatles

  • fool on the hill is underrated, i think

  • Im surprised that helter skelter is in here

  • Couldn't agree more on this list. Yes it is has always been a favorite of mine

  • Wow, awesome songs and wonderful pictures! Great job!

  • ahhhhhh... DEAR PRUDENCE. that song never makes it on any top lists its in my top five favorite beatles song when it came on in this video i was sing along that just made my day. also im only sleeping and helter skelter a amazing as well i was singin along with those too. <3

  • Good chioce of music, excellent photos!

  • Yes it Is is a very underrated song. It seems to be one of the most forgotten Beatles songs.

  • I would have to agree. A lot of songs from The White Album kind of went unnoticed, which is a shame....

  • you won't see me is very under-rated. & martha my dear

  • @AllTheNuttyBits Agreed, I think those are two of the very most underrated Beatle songs.

  • @AllTheNuttyBits ESP, Martha my Dear which is a great song in my opinion, maybe because it is about Paul's dog?
