It won't. Thus far, ilvl 277 will last you into level 82, then you need to consider swapping out gear for greens/blues because of the giant jump in stamina you'll need to take incoming hits.

Shadowmourne is ilvl284, with gems, enchant, and a pretty great proc.

I'd say you could go all the way to 85 with it if you wanted to.
