  • Hahah its always Djokovic

  • roger federer = quentin tarantino

  • @MrGuitar0492 roger federer = joaquin phoenix

  • great quality

    thx

  • Federer remains the rank 1..

    djokovic the rank 3~

And ofcourse my favorite RAFAEL NADAL got the second :)

  • he's not human....

  • DOSLO JE VREME DA OVO NOLE POCNE NAPLACIVATI SA KAMATOM

  • If Federer were around 200 years ago he'd have been burned as a witch.

  • @UlsterWinger the burning of suspected witches was last LEGAL about 500 years ago, so yeah

  • how does he do that? beautiful!

  • I remember that point!

  • OVERHEAD TOPSPIN LOB?

  • @goph000 MOON VOLLEY!

  • Đoković is amazing too !

  • i heard poker face

    i loled

  • @theory0723 hahahaha me too

  • co za asy

  • Roger is amazing, there are other very good players ... but he is the most graceful. And one of the nicest, a gentleman, an artist.

  • He is the reason i started playing tennis :3 so freakin amazing

  • 2:50 WoW

  • wie er dass sagt: Ein Techniker vor dem Herrn. Halbgott oder was

  • y cant i share it to facebuk.......wtf

  • federer looks extremely sweaty here, was it when he had mono

  • on the second point Djocovic was like TAKE THAT BEEOOTCH!!!! STFU!

  • the towel boy's reaction at 00:59 s was amazing..whoa!

  • @anil660 lol, yeh just noticed that... hahaha. hes like no way man.... thats not possible. the scary thing is he actually played for that angle... you can see him set up for it before he hits it when he changes his grip.... most people would just try n rip a forehand down the line or try n pass you.

  • 2:53. poker face?

  • its funny how the last 4 "great shot" videos i have seen have been against djokovic. haha i feel sorry for him, it doesnt matter how hard he plays he cant catch a break haha,

  • 2:56

  • i prefer djokovic

  • Federer has hit better the one against roddick was the best ever.

  • i cant decide if the mary pierce one was better or if this is the best one. i would post a link but i keep getting errors. she did a 'through the legs' shot against seles at the french.

  • At first, I thought the first point that Federer got was gonna go out. But, then I saw the replay and noticed he added a spin when he returned it. :O

  • roger doesn't sweat? i think not

  • I think a shot's greatness should be determined not only by the shot itself but by the importance of the point in the match. That shot was pretty clutch, though.

  • wat a shot by djockovic at 2:55!

  • Comment removed

  • i guess that federer just knows the game of djokovic... you can see him anticipating almost everytime the right side...

  • lol he smashed a smash

  • You can see Federer always plays the most brilliant games against Djokovic, I think it is because he knows that Novak is the next nr.1.

  • godly

  • haha xD federer is just to good xD

  • I wonder how Federer does all the goods against Djokovic. The overhead lob in 2008 and the hotdog passing shot in 2009. What next?

  • did anyone see the towel boy's reaction! Classic.

  • @xxkarriewilsonxx where?

  • this one is way better than the tweener

  • the commentary is awful i think he outdid that shot at this years us open semi with djokovic

  • i think this one is better than the tweener because this one is still a close match, this year, federer was already up to sets and 2 points away from the game. This point was more clutch

  • @tvvideos365 the commentator is by far the best i know (not only in german, also on all channels with english language that send grandslams). he said the shot was absolutely fantastic, i think its just that its definitely not federers best shot ever. he does these all the time, and djokovic was definitely able to get that ball, he just thought ball gets clearly out. what do you want the commentary to do? get an orgasm? federer had better stuff.

  • hahhaa

    I like the German comments.

    Makes it sound cooler

  • CLASS

  • cause if they do that then they will get like 100 injuries in one match

  • try play tennis yourself and u might find out why... it's not as easy as it looks like m8.

  • i played tennis at school for p.e and thats basiclally all i did and i didnt get hurt and got a 1 (A) for tennis............PWND!!!!!!!

  • yay gz! Well... everyone can't be as awesome as you right?

  • Yeah, for P.E. That's a good one.

  • try doing it for 15+ years then comment

  • oh fuck off u pussy wanker, seriously ur such a cock. skating is for pussies

  • @bigburger77 and tennis isnt??.........

    work that one out dumbass

  • ...and in skate the chances that u break ur neck or leg or arm are 10000000000x bigger than in tennis

  • then i wish u break ur leg as soon as possible bitch and don't judge tennis ...i bet u cant even make contact with the ball in tennis ... so STFU cuz what i said was a genral truth and what u said was bullsh*t

  • hahhah grow up, kid.

  • i would if people would stop replying..... I AM NO LONGER GONNA REPLY TO ANY DAMN MESSAGES

  • and you are what i call an idiot!

  • i see you r very influenced by virtua tennis

  • k then dont watch the vids LOL

  • uhm.......you got a point but i thought this was going to be a good shot but it turned out to be like any other shot in the world.........kinda pointless vid if you ask me!!!! soz but thats wat i think......NO MORE DISCUSSION ABOUT A COMMENT I MADE LIKE A MONTH AGO AND DONT EVEN GIVE A SHIT ABOUT........goodbye!!!!!

  • Djokovic's return winner is better than Federer's first point xD

  • he hits an even better hot shot in next years meeting at us open :)

  • Quel champion!

  • Incredible tennis...

  • bet you feel like a clever boy :) embarassingly good. your just one step ahead

    Carlsberg dont do idiots..

But if they did... they'd probably be the best idiots in the world

  • "everyone wants to roger to win.. so its good if he wins everything....

    yaaayyyyyyyy"

    Carlsberg don't do retards

    but if they did...

  • .... they would probably be just like you

  • Us Open Semi-FInals against Djokovic are a good scenary for Federer to do a great shot hahaha

  • He put top and right spin on it, like a twist serve.

  • ah ah ah, always against djokovic amazing points from roger...and always in us-open semi-finals!

  • yeah, i'd deffo say his 2009 shot was a lot better.

  • he did the same shot to andy roddick...roddick got so pissed haha

  • game . set . HISTORY!

  • where is the fuckin ball..

  • Whole game*

  • everyone wants to roger to win.. so its good if he wins everything.... yaaayyyyyyyy

  • Federer > Sampras.

  • Damn that shot today was just too much. The way Federer beat Djokovic was pretty damn crazy, very reminiscent of his prime.

  • His last one versus Djokovic (2009 US Open Semi-Finals) was amazing... he hit it between his legs and nailed it in the corner... that gave him match point, then hit a big return and won the match.

  • Only Federer could do a shot like that..

  • djokovic played really well in 2008

  • This *was* the best shot... until he went even further in today's match. Both shots are incredible!

  • el punto de hoy fue mucho MUCHO mas espectacular!!!! today's willy was even better!!

  • y que paso con el de hoy ?

  • shut up raul

  • mate, German is a language and not an accent!

nice shot btw but his latest one from 2009 us-open final could be its successor...

  • Between the legs ftw!

  • Unreal!!!

  • i could only see the ball in the replay video. Hehe

  • you CANNOT be serioius!

  • hey that's like the shot he had against roddick awhile back... does roger practice that shot?

  • Yeah, it was unbelievable shot. Is there any video of it?

  • OMAIGAD! THe ball boy at 1:01 it's like: "WTF?! let me suck your cock" ahhahahahahhaahah omg, omb, omv, omt, omp, dnd, dns =))

  • lol even the ball boy is in disbelief at 1:00, great shot by roger

  • ridicolous

  • only federer can do that....

    THE BEST of ALL TIME

    CMON RODGE

  • The US Open 2008 was the best US Open I've ever seen!

  • And 2005 (or 2006) against Andre was even greater from a sheerly tenistic point of view

  • iit was djokovic

  • ive bin down 6-0 5-0 40-0 and came back and won 7-6 in third to number 2 kid in nation

  • lol nice kidding

  • I want to live that experience

  • sure you did.

  • OMFG! WHAT A GAME!!

  • looks like some people can't read. At the start and near the end of this video, the score comes up and clearly says US open 2008 men's singles semifinal -.-

  • This was 2008 US Open!

  • yay he beat nadal!

  • federer is the best, no doubt

  • @MAKSI999 true. But Nadal clearly has his number

  • ta akcja którą zdobył pierwszy pkt była niesamowita, jedna z najlepszych jakie widziałem w historii. ROGER FEDERER!

  • snap3231:duh nadal has a hairy anus. wonder hes always scratching up his asshole because his ass hair gets stucked in to it

  • federer, du bisch und bliiibsch de besh!!

  • to be honest i think that one of the best tennis matches ive seen was the nadal - verdasco semifinal at the 09 Australian Open. That match will stick with me as one of my favourites for many years to come

  • it was only on foxtel, but when gonzalez came back to beat some other guy after being down 2 sets to nil and 5 games to 3 was truly amazing

  • what match was that?

  • it was about the 2nd or so game before the quarter finals between gonzalez and someone else. Australian open 2009

  • gasquet i remember now. cant believe sumone thumsdownd me for asking a question

  • ?? it was the 2008 US open semi-final.

look at the first few seconds of the video lol

  • AMEN!! watching that match was one of the happiest & most heartbreaking moments of my life. i'm so glad i ditched work to watch that!!

  • i was down 6-1, 5-0, 40-15 in a match and i came back to win it. haha thats probably one of my proudest achievements in tennis

  • no one cares

  • You just have to stand and applaud that shot. I'm die-hard for Nadal, always rooting in his corner, but the level of genius in Federer's shot-making has never been seen before; nor will it be seen again. Just stunning tennis. Props to the greatest of all time.

  • Only time will tell if such a player can ever be surpassed.

  • Right you are. Perhaps Nadal will do it...if his knees hold-out I can see him winning Roland Garros until he's thirty-one lol!

  • dude what the hell was that guy speaking in english

  • that's just crazy

  • Well what can i say Roger Federer is simply the best, I hope he wins 2009 Wimbledon

  • He will ;)

  • Roger's backhand in this match was flawless and effortless. He's truly a tennis master and a great player.

  • that sucked u couldnt see the ball

  • There's no limit to Roger's creativity!!!

When I watched this match live I couldn't realise what just have happened!

  • He meant "game" not "match" you silly bitches

  • i love federer's first shot. it was like a topspin overhead lob from the baseline. awesome

  • 1:42 is stunning, its just a shame djokovic isnt consistent. federer forever

  • Federer is the best tennis player ever. He always makes the best possible shot to win the point that he should've lost.

  • der würde nie an den ball kommen

  • the US had and has:Connors,Chang,Courier;McEnroe;Ashe;Tilden,King,Evert;Davenport,Capriati;the Williams;Sampras;Seles;Agassi;,Roddick;Graff while Spain had and has:Vicario;Moya;Ferrero;Nadal and that other tennis legend whose name I can't remember but you see at the end of the day like it or not the USA>>>>>>>>Spain

after Nadal,Ferrero;Moya who the hell has won a major?

stop saying stuff that make you look even more stupid than a pile of dirt!

  • ever heard of facts? ille tell you one, federer has won around double the carreer titles nadal has won. heres another, federer is the best player ever and the best player at the moment.

  • federer is 5 years older. so he's played TWENTY more grand slams than Nadal, and yet he only has double nadals number? btw in my opinion you cant call someone the GOAT if they have a poor record against their biggest rival, especially in slam finals. at RG they said "ok but thats clay, surely not at wimbledon" then they said "ok but it was close, surely not at the aussie on a hard court"...... what more could nadal possibly have to do to convince you hes got roger's number?

  • im not denying that he is he best at the moment, but overall i think federer is the better player and will go down in history as the greatest player ever....

  • its not just at the moment that nadals on top of federer. he's had the upper hand in their rivalry from the first match they played

  • yes, but rafa beating fed regularly doesn't make him a overall better player. fed beat EVERYONE except rafa, but rafa still loses to number 20 in the world, every once in a while. Federer made the clay finals, even though that's his "worst surface". Federer loses to no one but rafa. Occasionally a murray or a djokovic has a good day, but when it matters the only one federer loses to is rafa. Rafa may become the GOAT but he has a long way to go, and no way is he better overall than federer now.

  • hes alot better mentally than federer. i was looking at the highlights from rogers epics recently and he consistently wilts under pressure when the big moments come. he had this problem even when he was on top of the world. 05 aussie open semi. was 2 sets to 1 up on safin and in the 4th set breaker he was up 5-2 with 2 serves to come. but lost the match cos he stopped going for his shots when it got tight in the 5th (according to safin). and lets not mention how he handles break points with rafa

  • let me point out why your logic doesn't work... namely Federer has only been stretched to 5 sets 5 times since 2003 in Grand Slams!!! Anyone, even an expert can take a while to adjust to new experiences, especially against such cunning opponents. And if you do look at his 5 set record he is 9-3 since becoming no.1. I will concede Nadal is mentally tougher, but only slightly. Fed and Nadal are so alike, Fed is just a bit better natural talent, Rafa is just a bit better mentally.

  • For a person to dominate the tennis world for 4 and a half years, win 13 grand slams over 5 years, reach 19 straight grand slam semis, reach 10 straight grand slam finals, and in all those matches only be pushed to 5 sets 5 times, and be ruled out of GOAT would be stupid. The reason he wins is because he has the tools, and the smarts to use the right tools for the job at hand. Federer is not at all mentally "weak" and anyone who says otherwise clearly is disregarding his record.

  • Nadal fans need to stop being so hateful, and unappreciative. For Heaven's sake, Rafa is a great player, and he will prolly pass Federer, i do not discount that as a very likely probability, but even Rafa at this point admires and appreciates Federer's tennis genius, and his fans would do well to follow suit. Don't come to a video that has nothing to do with Rafa, and go on insulting Federer. We should all just appreciate these two incredible humans, and talents.

  • THANK YOU

  • i RLY cant believe u think winning 5 setters are about PRACTICE. they reveal character. he is supposed to rise to the occasion. its just another set of tennnis except thers more pressure. and he cant handle it

  • You cannot say Rafa has beaten Federer more times than he has lost against him. You actually can, but if you look at the history. Before WImbledon and the Aussie Open, Federer lost to Nadal only on Clay. When Federer got Mono in December of 2007, that hurt him mentally and physically, so he has to regain it all back.

  • Results by court surface

    Clay courts: Nadal 91

    Hard courts: 33

    Grass courts: Federer 21

ok its 2009 now it is time to stop blaming the mono, it probably did affect him at wimbledon (but he would have won anyway if he'd played the big points better) but seriously no case of mono lasts over a year, he was fine at the aussie open. did you see the del potro match? he was firing on all cylinders. he lost the final because he cant play with flare against nadal anymore.

  • i definitely dont want to seem ungracious, so it has been a joy parrying words with you. but clearly i think you need to acknowledge that with a 3-2 record in those 5 five-setters i talked about, and a match record from 2004-2006 of 247-15 that Federer is not mentally "weak". Rafa is definitely a champion of high calibre, and i concede that to you, but only time will tell if he will surpass Roger in the record books.

  • hes got 247 to 15 because he was rarely pressured. my only point is his flaws when under pressure. and most of those 15 were nadal. btw nadal is not a high calibre champion, i dont respect him at all. he beats federer because of all that top spin forcing roger to hit the ball at shoulder height, EVERY single time. and he goes to his backhand EVERY single time, which is a one handed backhand. so he waits for an error, this is a cheap way to win. Nadal = muscle. Federer = neoclassical dexterity

  • Uhm excuse me?

Being both a Federer and Nadal fan and nationals tennis player myself, I beg to differ with your "insight."

First of all, Nadal is not a high caliber player. I'm speechless as to how you can think considering that his speed, power, stamina, and fighting spirit are of the utmost highest caliber.

Which brings me to my next point. You call is playing style "cheap." Well, you really need to learn something. There is nothing cheap unless you call things out that are actually out or

  • mess with the score. That is his style of play. That's the point of tennis. You play, find your opponents weakness or what he can't handle, and keep pounding that at him/her, so please, before you go and bad mouth someone think through it first.

  • ive thought about it and ive decided that repeating the same shot absolutely every time over and over again is cheap and boring. i think having one tactic for a whole match is not the most impressive thing in the world.

i dont agree with your position that theres no such thing as a cheap way to win.

hypothetically if some freak comes along and wins cos he serves at 400KMH and the rest of his game is pure shit, its a cheap way to win. you disagree with this?!?

  • and nadals even worse than the guy in the hypothetical, at least the server needs to be accurate. nadals moon balling top spinners dont require special attention, thats just the way he hits the ball. his style of shot.

dont get me wrong, nadals very good, probably the 2nd best out there. but the thing that wins him matches is a very high bouncing ball. whereas federer employs an all court skill display of touch, accuracy and flare

  • oh boy, how in hell did we end up trashing Nadal's game now??? i think this shall be my last contribution, and as such i'll once more describe why BOTH Roger and Rafa are the highest of champions. As for Roger, he withstood the mental test of being hunted by every single professional player for 237 straight weeks, and only in the last 30 of those was anyone close to getting his number, if the pressure of that is not an immense enough test for you, i think that mental toughness for you would...

  • constitute a person needing to be perfectly calm and happy while everyone around him is getting shot and bombed and tortured and poison gassed. basically you're asking for inhumanity, which is not only impossible, but highly undesirable. As chap off the court, he's been lauded by everyone as the "nicest guy", and Roddick even said "I'd love to hate you, but you're a nice guy". Nadal's first comment after winning the Aussie this year was "Sorry Roger". Anyone who can count on his peers empathy...

  • is an absolute champion, having conquered even the hearts and minds of those who are supposed to be his "enemies", its a very spiritual kind of thing. As for Rafa, that last comment i quoted, and his absolute effort, and will, and hard work all make him an amazing guy. Even as a 22-year old who has been at the top forever, he has no aura of "i'm the best, and you all are trash", which is an amazing accomplishment. Unlike
