Double pedals are use to play faster, and since the drummer from Lagwagon doesn't use a double pedal (most punk bands don't) lots of people think it's cheating.

Effettivamente la discussione "singolo/doppio pedale" è un po' inutile, ci sono batteristi hc melodico validissimi che suonano col doppio come te. dipende da come ci si sente. io personalmente faccio molta meno fatica col singolo, una volta che si impara il movimento è tutta questione di "nervi", e col piede buono si possono anche tirare calci ai compagni di band... ma questo è quello che IO faccio, ognuno fa quello che vuole, è questo il bello.

Cosa? usa il doppio in studio? ma non diciamo cavolate......quela scansione del battere è data dal sintetizzatore, tutto ciò che risuonerebbe usando il singolo viene tagliato dal sintetizzatore e non si sentonono rindondanze, anche se dave ha un piede d'oro e non ne avrebbe bisogno. Comunque il pedale è uno e basta!!!! comunque sei bravo manca un po di "grove" ma non ti posso giudicare perchè non so da quanto suoni. Complimenti
a friend of mine showed me how this is done by using his toe and heel alternately on the pedal, looked hard as hell to do. I couldn't see how it worked myself being a guitarist.
Dave usa pedale singolo, usa il doppio per l'intro di Automatic credo, almeno così ho visto in un live. E cmq se fai fatica con il singolo allenati e vedrai miglioramenti, usare il doppio secondo me è come arrendersi...

Using double pedal instead of single is not cheating. It's like saying all the famous drummers are cheating cuz' they have two snares or two hi hats.

a friend of mine showed me how this is done by using his toe and heel alternately on the pedal, looked hard as hell to do. I couldn't see how it worked myself being a guitarist.
