the yeti does not move anymore. It stopped working, and once they got it to start they realized that the movement of such a big structure was actually breaking down the coasters foundation and damaging the ride (the yeti itself is enormous). So for now, it's stopped for good. whether they rebuild it or not is unknown.

yea this "disco yeti" as some call it is a real disapointment. i have been to disney over 12 times, and just recently i remember seeing strobe lights and a lack of movement. for the maximum population, they don't see much difference, but for people like me, it is disapointing. Not that they could have stopped, his platform that he was on cracked. bust still, it has been 2 years since this happened . . . . . lets get a move on disney repair crew! you can do anything!!!!

I feel odd, for i yesterday posted this paragraph with the knowledge that i had gained from the past weekend, which is a lot in my opinion. But today i came home and was doing more research and found out that they were working on him since january 09 and had fixed him in late summer of 09. Now his arm swoops at you more, but over all has a little less power (i DIDNT say less motion!) than the original A mode. consider this an a (lowercase) mode. Anything is an improvement from disco yeti! yes!
