@stigmaweb I know the concern was that, early in their existence, that this was almost the only video around and not very representative. It could be that they are beyond that, but I'd imagine, like any good musician, they will be much more concerned about their present and future output than digging up old bones.

I saw this version of Sempiternal live before I heard the new album and I wanted to know if anyone knows where I can get this version. I like the new one but I find its lacking the dynamic that the drums bring.

Ben Curtis is one of the most enjoyable guitar players from the latest years. I had the chance to see The Secret Machines when they visited Mexico for opening U2´s concert on 2006. He was great. That Hagstrom goldtop is gorgeous by the way. I am getting mine!

ok, i just listened to a few secret machines recordings. totally cool stuff. probably some of the best i've heard in a while. but the SVIIB 'Alpinisms' is supernal. i guess it's a matter of taste and this particular performance is not the best representation of their strengths. check out the rest of the record.
