In the sword fighting mode of wii sports resort, there is this one mode called showdown. in it you fight a hord of enemies coming your way. I know its kinda vague but in it you hear a horn similar to the one in TP. remember the one that big thing used on that giant boar! maybe there are some hints to the next zelda in that game, right in sports resort! the motion plus is really great. the sword fighting is incredible. i can block sweep their legs, the only thing i cant do is stab!

I'm sorry, but a first person Zelda game would be a cliche that conforms to the fps games. though this new Zelda game would use the wii motion plus does not necessarily means that it would be in first person like you theorized. if you remember the ps3 conference at E3 with their "new motion wand" (that seems very similar to a wii-mote) the demo showed a third person warrior-like figure fighting dummies and goblin like-creatures. so it is highly likely that they won't change such a huge aspect.
I really think that if they're not bringing back kokiri, gorons or zoras that they should at least include the gerudo tribe in the new game. Multiple races really made the game fun.
i couldn't really imagine first person in Zelda unless your shooting stuff with the bow but even then they could just use third person view. meh. i don't know.
People should check the "Master Sword" girl's clothes. Although the shoulder covering part of her garments point down (different from the actual Master Sword, which points up), it looks like it could just open up like birds' wings, thus looking more similar to the Sword. Maybe that is what she does when about to be used in combat by Link?
I really don't believe that this new Zelda is going to be first person view. I even read somewhere that they said it won't be first person view, because that was a concern for me so I did a lot of research on it and if there was any information regarding this.
Also, even though I think Zelda will likely be delayed, they have separate teams working on separate games, so Mario and Metroid shouldn't really affect Zelda.
Im pretty sure that the New Zelda game will have an option to change the view. I dont think Nintendo would want Zelda fans to get mad but not only that the game would get a low score... think about it. Resident Evil was a good game but then they began making the new RE games easy, Third Person and then Rail Shooter. Not that im saying its bad, I think its cool but many RE fans are posting that Capcom sucks and their giving up... pretty sure thats whats gonna happen to Nintendo

I mean, come on, they created Midna, and out of everything the Zelda team has created, ESPECIALLY with Twilight Princess, we see that they're not lacking in creativity. As I said before, if they did not want people to automatically link this "sword girl" to the Fairy Queen, they would not make her in an almost identical image.

Actually, the title of the original Zelda was RED, just like every other one, as you would see if you even took a cursory glance at the Wikipedia page or Googled "Legend of Zelda box". Majora's Mask's title was purple, though, and so did Oracle of Ages. Four Sword's Adventures' was green. I think "Link" in AoL was blue.
But, Zelda was never silver. The coat of arms above the title was silver, but not the title itself. "The Legend of" was black and "Zelda" was red.

Maby the Sword and Link... Is Linking together in 1 form ? Changing link into a sword/hylian player ???. the flames /or something to that effect.. may be the force linking them together or something.... just tought id point that out ;)

I'm sorry, but a first person Zelda game would be a cliche that conforms to the fps games. though this new Zelda game would use the wii motion plus does not necessarily means that it would be in first person like you theorized. if you remember the ps3 conference at E3 with their "new motion wand" (that seems very similar to a wii-mote) the demo showed a third person warrior-like figure fighting dummies and goblin like-creatures. so it is highly likely that they won't change such a huge aspect.

I really think that if they're not bringing back kokiri, gorons or zoras that they should at least include the gerudo tribe in the new game. Multiple races really made the game fun.

i couldn't really imagine first person in Zelda unless your shooting stuff with the bow but even then they could just use third person view. meh. i don't know.

People should check the "Master Sword" girl's clothes. Although the shoulder covering part of her garments point down (different from the actual Master Sword, which points up), it looks like it could just open up like birds' wings, thus looking more similar to the Sword. Maybe that is what she does when about to be used in combat by Link?

I think the sword thing is going to be the same.
But instead of just hitting randomly it's going to work like this:

I really don't believe that this new Zelda is going to be first person view. I even read somewhere that they said it won't be first person view, because that was a concern for me so I did a lot of research on it and if there was any information regarding this.

Also, even though I think Zelda will likely be delayed, they have separate teams working on separate games, so Mario and Metroid shouldn't really affect Zelda.

Im pretty sure that the New Zelda game will have an option to change the view. I dont think Nintendo would want Zelda fans to get mad but not only that the game would get a low score... think about it. Resident Evil was a good game but then they began making the new RE games easy, Third Person and then Rail Shooter. Not that im saying its bad, I think its cool but many RE fans are posting that Capcom sucks and their giving up... pretty sure thats whats gonna happen to Nintendo

maybe theyre the same spirit? i didn't play wind waker so idk if this cud be false but to me it seems like the master sword spirit and the great fairy queen are the same spirit. any thoughts? and btw i thought of that statue as a temple of time statue not a ganondorf face or goron

Also, I doubt it is coincidence or lack of creativity. I mean, come on, they created Midna, and out of everything the Zelda team has created, ESPECIALLY with Twilight Princess, we see that they're not lacking in creativity. As I said before, if they did not want people to automatically link this "sword girl" to the Fairy Queen, they would not make her in an almost identical image.

I believe she has SOMETHING to do with the Fairy Queen. I highly doubt that Nintendo would make the resemblance SO obvious if they didn't want people thinking, "OH! That's the Fairy Queen from Windwaker!" I mean, seriously, that's the first thing you notice when you see her.

I think that they should use wii motion plus, but keep it nice and classic. remember Ocarina? stuff like that. Also, it needs more twists. link should have to make a choise like kill ganon or save zelda, or something.

i think they should make one HYrule and keep it the same throught out the series and visit old places. they need to put the mirror shield back. And for you guys who played Ocarina of tie and twilight princess did you notice in twilight princess that the entrance to the temple of time is that window that navi flew out of at the end?

I don't think Link is really trying to protect her. He might be turned back to back with her for an epic effect...and besides...what kind of a crappy drawing of the next Zelda which fans have been waiting for for years would show Link's back facing us?

Actually, the title of the original Zelda was RED, just like every other one, as you would see if you even took a cursory glance at the Wikipedia page or Googled "Legend of Zelda box". Majora's Mask's title was purple, though, and so did Oracle of Ages. Four Sword's Adventures' was green. I think "Link" in AoL was blue.
But, Zelda was never silver. The coat of arms above the title was silver, but not the title itself. "The Legend of" was black and "Zelda" was red.
