@Fabianspelar higher the resolution the higher cpu usage this also is the same for upload.. I stream in Standard Definition.. and my settings are; input:720x480 output:720x405(widescreen) h.264 codec and my bitrate is 1200kbps or 1600kbps.. depends on the viewers.. some people might have low download speed, so if people are complaining of lag, I try and lower the bitrate for them.

I try and use XSplit, and for the most part, it works with my BlackMagic Intensity Shuttle (at least the video does)

I need help. I am trying to stream my x360 and I am screen capturing the player for my capture card. I got the video to work and everything is fine on the stream. I am having problems getting the sound to work. Is there a way to capture the sound directly from the player or the x360. As of right now I am using stereo mix but that only captures everything that is being played through my speakers. This does work but it creates an echo and a not so good sound. Please help

hello there faithlolz, i thank you for the tutorial video and it helped me understand the program alot better. though i have 1 big problem while i try to record it on justin.tv

everytime i startup and want to broadcast i have the problem that on justin.tv only a part of the whole xsplit is shown (upper left side to center)

and if i try to adjust xsplit's screen ratio the quality will only get worse.

now i have tried several things but i cannot come to a solution on my own.

@VROGamers you may want to try to reinstall xsplit, other than that, i dont really know why that is happening, you may want to try a different program. For example VH screen capture.

aperantly if you start livestreaming trough justin.tv itself you only get part of the xsplit. but when i start broadcasting trough xsplit towards justin.tv it doesnt have that problem ^^

@OwlGames resolution is too high for that bitrate, people say 1500 is enough for 1280x720 (720p) but it isnt it gets all pixelated and horrible, use 2000kbps 10 qual and try the 16:9 resolution just below 1280x720 ;]

@YhinHD There will be a delay, even with "live" tv their is a few seconds of delay. As far as you lagging, play with your recording FPS and in game settings (lowering them will make you run smoother). Hopes this helps you

Umm to any of you who had the same problems as me with audio... if you have a Dell you might just be missing stereo mix because Dell is stupid. Anyway fix the problem by going here webcastacademy (dot) net/node/1593 and getting the driver needed for it.
