well i can send you the cfg files if you want, but you should notice this: the dx10mod only changes the settings for the preset "very high" so that "very high" almost equals "ultra high". so if you see light rays the dx10mod worked. if not, you did something wrong ;)
lol I have no idea. It looked like another video explosion I saw and I thought that you pasted it over because it moved when you looked away. like the explosion moved from the barrels. I realize now that all of the explosions look the same because they are programed that way lol.
oil and fuel swims on top of water. so probably the water would burn and because of the heat, a giant steam cloud would be created. or maybe not..who knows. try it out mate ;)
it goes white because this one is a massive overdraw..all the level lighting goes brighter too because all those barrels are exploding...the card is fine ;)
