His son lived till 86? That's amazing! A proud Macedonian voyvoda. He would be turning in his grave if he knew Bulgarians would be honoring him. The irony.
Cruiser you need to read a little bit more and hate a little less,
and dont worry about Turundzhe Voyvoda, you and and the people who think like you have nothing in common with what he fought for, so dont waste your time.
@ficheto that's ok, but while you were freed from ottoman occupation, we were still having our throats cut.
As our closest ally, we expected you to respect what was essentially self defense, and our right to basic human rights. Not twist the knife while it was wedged in our backs.
I have no idea who is you, my family was in Macedonia at that time just as yours was than probably too, yes the Bulgarian state should have responded better than it did, but the finger could be pointed at every direction and one would not make a mistake
@ficheto read what ficheto? Whose writing of history shall i follow? The ones who actually suffered under the tyranny of Ottoman rule and the desires of our neighbors...or the writings of the people who schemed and waited like cowards to benefit from our misery?.
well the subject we are talking about is quite vast,
if you are so afraid of propaganda, you can find many books written by people outside of the region or by the voyvodas themselves and see what they had to say about it, leave the governments out of this they have nothing to do with the people most of the time
