I live in a different house several blocks from my old one. I grew up in my early teens watchin Pete & Pete and those were my fond memories. Everytime I walk by I think of all the good times cause this songs playing in the background
Those who havent watched this tv show as children/teenagers,lost a life. This tv show made a huge impact on me back in the 90s.I absolutely love it,downloaded a while again,I was so sad when finished to watch them all.
Hearing this song makes me sad now. I'm 26 now and even though I can still remember watching this show every Sunday during my youth, I can longer remember how I felt back then.
I wish they would make kids shows like this more often. If I'm still able to watch a kids show as an adult and laugh my ass off, they got something right. Now a days these kids watch crap that has random not funny jokes, rich kids, and horrible acting. Bring back the 90's when cartoons and tv shows were the best to watch.
i really love this song! this takes me back to my youth in the 90s watching Nickelodeon when it was ACTUALLY GOOD! thanks for posting this, blowhole! HAHA
Thanks so much for this I tried for a long time looking for this song under the wrong band. It wasn't until i thought to try youtube that i found your posting. So thanks, cause i'm a huge Pete & Pete fanatic. I'm glad to know that there are still people out there that remember and love the old Nick shows.
i know. t.v. for kids back then had a meaning. i could relate to it. but when i sit down to watch shows with the whippersnappers today i feel sorry for them. how can you relate to a hyperactive talking sponge? when kids grow up and become my age are they gonna look back and think, "man, i learned a lot of useful things from the shows i watched as kid.", like i do today? i doubt it. saaaaaaaaaad.
Spongebob is actually a satire. I mean look at it hes a loser fry cook and can't drive, and hes happy about it. That being said I don't have a problem with Spongebob more with things like Fairly Odd Parents.
I recame across this song a couple months ago, swearing that I've heard it before..at the time didn't know I heard it on Pete and Pete. Damn I love this song and miss the hell out of the days coming home and watch Pete and Pete like it was a religion.
i still listen to this cd, i bought it back in 96 when i was a senior in HS and i heard this track on it and i was like holy fuk cos i had loved this track on pete n pete

@nickyjonrussell Agreeness.
There is so much music, and literature from the 90's that would be great to remake.

yes I know the lyrics. I want the song played because on one of our first dates, we watched Pete and Pete episodes
AmandaWillaMae 2 years ago 2
Ugh... yeah... the song is about losing the love of someone as time passes.... I don't think that this song is good for a wedding....
But this song is great!!!
PartyBoy64 2 years ago
Once again: I'm aware of the lyrics.
The ONLY reason I would want this played, is because my future husband and I watched many episodes of Pete and Pete when we first started dating.
I guess "Waiting for October" would be a better selection
AmandaWillaMae 2 years ago 2
don't listen to them. this is stil a good song. if you don't use it why not try "she is staggering" or "everywhere" by polaris?
