I used the recipe and the soap traced super fast. Now the soap looks ashy..what did I do wrong? Love love love the video and the hearts on top are gorgeous.
Question: this may be one of those "obvious" questions but, you took a bottle and only put a little bit of colored soap in it. Can't you use a smaller bottle so you can get the soap to the opening quicker before it starts to set up?
I love the soap but I am sorry to say that to many hands got in the way and made it difficult to see everything. I would like to see just Anne Marie doing the videos. Anne Marie you just do an awesome job in explaining and showing exactly what needs to be done.

When I used to craft with paints, I did this same technique on my wooden projects. It's not a new idea, just reinvented for soap. I don't know what this means that this was inspired by bakers, tole painters have been using this technique for years. I first used this heart design with paints around 1995. But the soap is beautiful.
Do you have any videos for retro bars of soap like the ones you showed at the end of the video?
