  • good interview.

  • It's a great job if you have the guts and heart. There is no greater reward than a simple "Thank you" after saving someones loved one, and no greater heartbreak than losing a pt. The biggest problem with volunteer EMS is the power struggles and politics that go on within corps. If you don't fit the "good ole boy" mentality you'll never make it. I say this from experence, I am an EMT in Upstate NY (not far from Spencerport) with over 20 years experence. My cert number will reflect that, 144XXX.

  • thank you, we need more people like you.

  • Hey that was a great and genuine interview ! Thanks!

  • Great Video....I am thinking about being an EMT myself....I'm alittle nervous about it though but I think I will fine.

  • Really nice interview with the EMT-I. She seems really nice and dedicated to the job !

  • Awesome, Gladiator music! Hans Zimmer pwns all!

  • Hans = legendary performance

  • this is going to be random... but look at her hat... GO SOX!!

  • at least you are observant. lol

  • haha, i was thinking the same thing.

  • nice vid i'm a paramedic in South Carolina and appreciate the recognition it's a great job but you'll definetly never get rich

  • haha.. Nice.. the interviewee was very good.. need some work prompting questions though.

  • I work for a private service and a steel mill. Definatly become an emtif you want to help people and see some crazy shit. Just a side note to the other guys out there: DON'T try to pick up chicks by saying your an emt. Most don't care. Chicks in ems are so much cooler.

  • This was awesome. I'm hopeing to get involved with en explorer post soon and get Certified when I turn 18 as an EMT-B.

  • same here man! i cant wait... i plan on being a volunteer on the side while im in college, currently i go with a friend of mine who is on the fire department/emt-b, i help out on scene and ride along with him, i cant actually touch the patient, but i do get to help out with bringing supplies and monitoring vitals, i really cannot wait to get out and do the real thing, there is nothing better than saving a life

  • sameeeee!!!! i can't wait...it's so exciting adn it's been something i've always wanted to do!!!!

  • nice interviews!

  • Wow this video was awesome. I'm currently working on my EMT-B certification. This video is very inspirational. A lot of love to all the volunteers out there. <3
