If you read many of my comments, there's a common theme ... I love my wife so much. This song was prominent during our first date. When I heard it again she wasn't there, so I had to marry her to ease the hurt of her absence. She is so special to me and that's why I love this song with all my heart.

I didn't grow up in this music era, my parents introduced me to this kind of music & because of this, I have a good relationship with them. I can honestly say that music back then have more positive influence than what we hear nowadays. There's ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with today's music, just that some of us can't relate to them, either that or the remaining just go with the flow. Today, you have people who EITHER can't sing but wear nothing and look good or have talent but sing with "fake" feelings emphasizing each vowel in each word for no reason other than to show off their "talent". I guess this crap resonates with the changing demographics in America. It's just another example of declining standards in the world today.
@BarneeFife I was lucky enough to hear a lot of good music growing up in the 70's and Carly was one of those great performers. I think we will find you can listen to music from people like Carly thirty years later and appreciate it while some of the stuff today won't be notable in a couple of years.

I can remember Carly Simon's biggest hit "You're So Vain"in which Mick Jagger sings in the chorus.

Impresionante mujer y maravillosa voz. Desde que la vi actuar en los 70-80 a estado acompañandome con sus canciones y su "repito" maravillosa voz. Es la mejor cantante en su estilo, y no creo que pueda haber otra igual. Carly, espero que sigas cantando y te deseo lo mejor, allá donde estés. Saludos desde España.

You really got this right! I can't believe the supposed "musical talent", that pervades the media. Gotta wonder, if any of the younger generation have any "functional matter " between their ears...
And, it's not only the music...it's the "trashy shows" that they watch... like "Jersey Shore"... It's "mindless entertainment"..."for the intelectually vacant"

@BarneeFife I was born in 1956 and had no trouble finding all kinds of music to like for 25 years and then came 1990. 21 years of crap. Today, you have people who EITHER can't sing but wear nothing and look good or have talent but sing with "fake" feelings emphasizing each vowel in each word for no reason other than to show off their "talent". I guess this crap resonates with the changing demographics in America. It's just another example of declining standards in the world today.

@BarneeFife I was lucky enough to hear a lot of good music growing up in the 70's and Carly was one of those great performers. I think we will find you can listen to music from people like Carly thirty years later and appreciate it while some of the stuff today won't be notable in a couple of years.

I watched this movie 150 million times while I was expecting our first child in 1990....I Love this movie it kept me going...I Belive in Love....my Hubby worked nights so I was home alone all the time...we are still married and we have 3 kids....Music is Magical...I love you Carly
