i know an easier way to crab walk, when you pick up a mortar or mulcher ( easier with mulcher than mortar) hold LT and as soon as the mulcher hits the ground switch to your shotgun and you will be crab walking.

i've done it tons of times its pretty easy. just hold up and tap A twice towards a step up ledge. then when he's climbin up hold RT and A at the same time, dont press it just once, HOLD it til he's done climbing, then you should have it.
