this is the JAL 1628 Boeing 747 incident over alaska, one of the best documented.Object had a walnut type skin on it,700feet plus, lights running around its perimenter. My guess is as good as the next.People would not panic, who was the origin of that statement, they would show a concerned, need to know. Its human nature
What people every time forget is, that not governments are responsible for incidents (if aliens visited earth) but the visitors tehmselves. A fact that was told the first time by Enrico Fermi and is known today as the Fermi-Paradoxon. As long as humanity did not evolve in a type 1 civil, what may take us a couple of centuries, a full disclosure does not make any sense. If ETs accepted our society right now, they showed up in an open and unambigous manner. However, they do not.
I like this guy A)because he seems like he could be my favorite Uncle, and B)because he's so credible and speaks the truth.PLEASE, if anyone out there is in a similar governmental position like his and you have knowledge/witnessed this kind of thing,PLEASE please please contact the Disclosure Project and Dr. Stephen Greer there. He will do his best to get you immunity and protection.I think the days of killing UFO/EBE experiencers because they knew too much are over, it's just too wide open now.
And CFI and MUFON! Yes, of course. Thanks. But as far as immunity and protection, I feel that on a visceral level, Dr. Greer has quite a bit of experience legally and otherwise with the first-hand intimidation of the powers that be that want him to stay quiet. Is there anyone in MUFON who would be in a position to comment on that? Also, I have never heard of CFI, what is it?
Unfortunately no organization can offer immunity unless the group is international and can offer political asylum. MUFON is currently the oldest & largest and therefore has the best selection of reputable political & scientific contacts.
I only recommend CFI (Coalition for Freedom of Information), because they've maintained a professional, scientific demeanor after many years of broadening public awareness through mass media exposure (ie/ Out of the Blue, Nov 11, '07 National Press Club, Beyond the Blue, etc.). It's a rare organization that mixes entertainment, profit, and UFOlogy that doesn't get caught up in what's commonly considered "fringe quackery."
Greer, though he's had many contacts with important people, including the Clinton's, and has given us videos like the one above, has recently been focusing more on the spiritual aspect of UFO encounters. This has somewhat tarnished his reputation and thereby limited his circle of influence.
Thanks for the info. I ***loved*** Out Of The Blue and recommend it to everyone I know, it's really the most credible introduction to the phenomenon that I've seen. I will look into CFI further, thanks.
Belive it or not - I personally witnessed a UFO in Alaska in 1973 that evaded three sets of scrambled jet fighters. I also met a guy who was in the Air Force at that time onboard the AWAC plane which verified the bogie as unidentified and the Air Force sent jets from N. Pacific, Alaska, and Washington state. This object could move from one side of the radar screen to the other, a distance of 300 miles in 1.5 seconds. Do that math. My friend and I watched it that night in the sky from our boat.
UFO's detected on Radar??That is something that has always perplexed me.I do believe that there has been extraterrestrial contact of some kind.I do believe that UFO's exists.I do not believe that standard RADAR can detect and plot a UFO's flight path. How can a human made stealth aircraft avoid radar but a UFO which is far more stealthier than the B-2 F-117 etc be detected on RADAR?
In response, WHY would a UFO, commanded by obviously a superior intelligence far more capable scientifically than humans even need to stay hidden? Alien cultures a million years ahead of the human race and Earth development (remember the universe is 15 billion years old and we are only maybe 5 billion years old) have no fear of us and our crude weapons and craft. We are amoebas compared to their civilization. No threat. We probably aren't even that interesting except for a passing glance.
First, I got the impression that with JAL1628 the radar returns were intermittent.
Second, different aircrafts have different characteristics. For instance, fighters are almost always faster than bombers. Likewise stealth crafts often have lower engine power thrust due to high-sweep angles needed to deflect incoming radar waves.
Third, and most importantly, stealth technology doesn't completely mask a crafts existence. It merely reduces the chance of detection. Either way it does seems that UFOs are suited in many ways for stealth. Just look at the different methodologies that are employed to reduce radar visibility and it's easy to see they fit a lot of the characteristics of our modern-day stealth aircrafts.
1) `Purpose shaping' is the use of the physical shape of the craft to diffuse and refract incoming radar signals. A sphere, or a saucer, is a naturally good shape for reducing radar power backscatter. The F117A & the B2, had a minimum of surfaces, simply because the computing power at the time wasn't powerful enough to add more faces.
2) Active cancellation, or destructive interference, requires that the precise characteristics of the waveform & the angle of arrival of the illuminating radar signal be known. Except against simple or low freq. radar systems this technique is extremely difficult due to the complex processing requirements & the difficulty of predicting the exact nature of the reflected radar signal over the craft. The biggest limitation here is the prediction element.
We can assume the processing requirements approach 0 as a civ. becomes more advanced.
3) Spot, sweep, barrage, base, and DRFM jamming have limitations based on the amount of power output provided by the craft; how many frequencies they can affect at once; and how many targets (or radar stations) can be fooled at a given time.
We would assume an advanced civilization would have ample power, but it may not be true that they can miniaturize their tech such that they can add numerous jammers on a small craft and still simultaneously block all radar.
4) Radar absorbent material assumes a specific wave-length. Deviation from the expected frequency causes loss in radar absorption. There's not much an advanced civilization could do about this. That is unless they can dynamically alter matter.
5) Decoys/Chaff assumes deploying some sort of metallic strip or another maneuverable flying object with the intent of deceiving radar operators. Odd as it may sound there is evidence to suggest that UFOs do deploy a form of decoy. For a good example search on Google for the 1976 Tehran UFO incident.
So, to sum up, these thing, are in fact hard to track!
Heck, John even mentions in this video that JAL1628 was the first time the US govt was able to get their hands on 30 minutes of radar data and that was in 1986! At the same time to say UFOs are ubiquitously so stealthy that they can avoid all form of radar detection is a bit over the top and doesn't have much of a scientific basing.
The Malmstrom case was pretty amazing too. The fact that the UFO used signals to render the 20 missile silos inoperable. And those minuteman missiles are by far America's more important, potent missiles available
I give Robert Salas a lot of credit for coming forward on the Malmstrom case. The fact there are numerous declassified documents detailing to what extent SAC investigated the failures goes to show how serious the issue was taken by head-brass.
The core investigation was undertaken by Boeing. Declassified Strategic Missile Wing documents & interviews with ex-Boeing engineers who conducted the tests confirms no cause for the missile shutdowns was ever found. For more info read Faded Giant.
Sarcasm towards UFO-culture is probably warranted, because, 1) yes, many UFOlogists make crazy ass, incorrect predictions; 2) many people continue to believe stories that they've personally invested in even when those stories don't stand up to scrutiny; and 3) yes, many ufologists & believers are overly enthusiastic if not downright cult'ish.
These things are true.
However it's also true that we have no good explanation for the Lakenheath/Bentwater incident of 1956.
Likewise there's no mundane explanation for the Battle of LA (1942), Project Twinkle (1949), the DC Flap of '52, Malmstrom AFB (1967), Colares (1977), JAL1628 (as described in this very video), & many other well researched cases. It's dishonest to characterize the subject as though it's not worth further study simply because this field has its share of nut-jobs, followers & snake-oil salesman.

UFOs are a quagmire. No one's ever going to produce evidence that convinces everyone that there's something bizarre happening in our airspace, but that doesn't mean there aren't solid accounts of unexplained phenomena. This is one of them and, it along with many others, should give any objective person reason to pause.
For example take Project Twinkle, a USAF sponsored project in the 50's that attempted to determine why green fireballs were appearing over NM military facilities. After several months the team was able to track one of the objects, using a series of cinetheodolites, and determined it was at an "altitude of ~150K feet", "30 ft in diameter", & traveling at an "undeterminable, yet high speed." A year later, they were no closer to identifying the objects and thus the project was shelved.
The list goes on with more stories just like this.
I strongly doubt the government is covering up UFOs, at least, not in the traditional sense. More likely the groups originally studying the subject had preconceived notions about what the objects *weren't* and it clouded their judgment. Resulting in conclusions more based on authority than on observation and reason.
And there's quite a bit to support this claim too. For those who are interested, do a search on "Condon Report" "Trick Memo" and "AIAA" "Condon Report". Also read about Project Blue Book and Dr. J Allen Hynek's take on Quintilla, the projects director.
These early findings and the attitude towards the subject has created a culture of dismissal. So much so that in the US we caricaturize any person who talks about UFOs as poor, uneducated trailer trash.
So what's my point? To quote Dr. Bernard Haisch, Director of the California Institute for Physics and Astrophysics, "I propose that true skepticism is called for today: neither the gullible acceptance of true belief nor the closed-minded rejection of the scoffer masquerading as the skeptic."
I define the true skeptic as a person who listens to both sides of any given story. A person who independently researches the details. A person who doesn't wield their superior knowledge of the facts as the reason why they're right, but rather uses logic and data to support the claim. I define the true skeptic as a person who realizes that todays truth can be tomorrows false-hood.
I define the true skeptic as moderate in all things.
So please keep an open-mind. There's probably a lot more to this subject than you realize. For an excellent 30 minute overview explaining why UFOs should be studied do a search on Google for "Leslie Kean" and "Science and the Failure to Investigate Unidentified Aerial Phenomena."
your a fuck tard your just scared of everthing that doesnt sound normal or seem posible your a narrow minded human being who should maybe open up a bit and think about why IT CAN be real is oppose to why IT CANT be real
Sorry I just bummped into on of the walls of your closed mind. Your right how could there possibly be any other planets out there. That mars and jupiter stuff if a real crock. And to think people say we have a moon, some people....
Actually I just did a little more research to sate my curiosity & here's what I turned up. According to UFOEvidence [tinyurl(dot)com/2do59t], "During this time, Captain Terauchi asked Tskububa to hand him a camera so that he could attempt to take a photograph of the lights. However, Terauchi was unfamiliar with the camera and could not get it to operate. Tsukuba also could not get his camera to operate due to problems with the auto-focus and finally gave up trying to take a photo."
So there are pictures. Whether or not the negatives or developed pictures exist is anyone's guess, but if they do, even blurry, they would provide more detail to what's already considered a very well documented case. Here's hoping they eventually surface.
They didn't take pictures, because it was a cargo flight with a flight crew of 3 traveling from Paris to Tokyo in *1986*. Anchorage was simply a pit stop. So, (a) decent cameras weren't readily available in 1986; (b) these people were trying to perform their jobs, meaning they didn't want to run in to the object; and (c) even if one of them did own a camera why would they bring it on a cargo flight for what they would consider a routine trip?
Do you bring a camera with you in your car every time you go down to the grocery store?
Sure it would have been nice if they had a camera, but the fact that they have 2 separate ground radar confirmations, corroborating plane nose radar & visual confirmation from all 3 crew members virtually guarantees something was in the air with them.
It is common practice for NASA and the air force to discredit anybody who has an encounter. We hear this time and time again. Their excuse is always the public can't handle the truth. The truth is there and their lies can not conceal the truth for much longer. We have entered an age of disclosure. Thank you for posting this!
Just talk sure but a very credible report. Thanks for posting this Xtraeme. I love his comment at the end - they look at you like "you aint wrapped to tight" lol

Here's hoping they eventually surface.

how come no-one took a picture? or is that impossible at the speed the crew were travelling at??
raz788 4 years ago
They didn't take pictures, because it was a cargo flight with a flight crew of 3 traveling from Paris to Tokyo in *1986*. Anchorage was simply a pit stop. So, (a) decent cameras weren't readily available in 1986; (b) these people were trying to perform their jobs, meaning they didn't want to run in to the object; and (c) even if one of them did own a camera why would they bring it on a cargo flight for what they would consider a routine trip?
Xtraeme 4 years ago
