  • syntroid and levothyroxine were both tried my me after the removal of my thyroid I took them correctly and stayed in the brain fog and lost a lot of my hair i stayed so tired all of the time neither one of these drugs worked for me even when t3 was added finally the doc put me on armor and it was like a miracle to me my hair grew back and I felt like myself again now I can't get armor in the USA and have to order it from Canada.

  • I have been living in a fog for the 3 years I have been taking Levothyroxine, putting on weight and lethargic howerver all tests said I was ok.

The instructions say,"Take with water before food". That is what I was doing.

I have now found out from the internet that you must take them with water, on an empty stomach, at least 1/2 an hour before food.

At last I am out the fog, loosing weight, better sense of smell and taste and raring to go.

The packet instructions are misleading and dangerous

  • Hi you - I been trying to get Armour for the last year now with no joy - my Specialist (endo!) informs me he does not know enough about it! Charming! Dr Ahmed at the GWH hospital - Have seen Dr Peatfield but can not afford to pay to see him again

  • hey, I really liked your videos..Im 23 and have been diagnosed with this hell for about a year now

but im a trained dancer and am now being forced to look at other career choices as I cant lose my extra weight & im always tired & sick if i diet. Hopefully I will fight for armour also, your armour video one shows its helped u loads!

  • usually doctors don't run the right tests.

The "standard" tests are TSH, Total T4 and T3 Uptake. T3 Uptake has NOTHING to do with your T3 levels. So i't important you get all the right tests:

    TSH, Free T3, Free T4 & antibodies.

Sometimes the problems lie in the Free T3 or Free T4. Ask your endocrinologist for these tests, as well as the standard tests.

    Good luck to you. :)

  • Hi there, I know exactly what you are going through. I'm a 20 year old male. I have the same problem. I went 12 years undiagnosed with hypoactive thyroidism, and then another 8 years treatment with Synthroid. Synthroid is a Thyroxine blend of only T4, which resulted in several terrible side affects, such as acne, poor skin, hair loss, and low energy levels.

If you can try switching to Armour Thryoid. It's a blend of T3 and T4.

    Good luck!

  • Fantastiv video and good luck, the NHS needs to change. By getting rid of all the BIG WIG who sit on their bottoms all day mediaction such as the one above can be funded.
