I worked for Ruehl for 4 years, they closed down because they made all their shit look like A&F. When they first opened, they made it different and people bought it.

By the time the store shown here had opened Ruehl was already dead, it was just a complete copy of Abercrombie. Unless you were shopping at Ruehl in 2004 when the original 4 stores were open (Tampa, Woodfield, Garden State Plaza, Twelve Oaks) then you don't really know what Ruehl was. It was so much better before they made it Abercrombie +$10.

I got like 5 pairs of jeans for $16 each when they were closing!!! And 2 crew sweaters and a T shirt lol. Everything was 40% off! I miss ruehl though... and I love the girl "you can't um, take like, videos in here" I think she rang me up because I remember trying not to laugh at her bimboness lol

Well, they could kindof make the Miami based brand more modern than hollister, with themes like ruehl, but more modern and Miami city like. Haha I'm just dreaming, it would be cool though.

I hope abercrombie regrets getting rid of ruehl. It was so awesome. I think it would be cool if Abercrombie created a brand based off of Miami, FL or South Beach though. Made for more adults, kinda like what Ruehl did. The store could make people feel like they were in a modern Miami penthouse, or beach house, with great music. Idk just a thought. :) I still miss ruehl.
