  • I'm learning a lot about black culture just reading the responses. I'm surprised some people want to label themselves so willingly.

  • You can be a good wife, a good mother, a good human being AND a strong woman. In fact, it takes a STRONG woman to be all of those things. It is a shame that as old as you are, you don't get that STRONG does not = DAMAGED. smh

  • Well , well put bro !!! Preach on .

  • God Bless You, Tmot!

  • Tmot i like you because you speak the truth. I've been talking about this strong black woman bull..ish for years. It's nonesense. It's also what black men throw in the faces of black women when they bail on em. "she be alright, she a strong black woman" .We are women, period! Black women have convinced men that we are super women that can be left and ignored and treated poorly and still bounce back. It's like we invite abuse. We invite men to test out ability to be treated like crap.

  • DAMN, I COULD NOT HAVE SAID IT BETTER MYSELF AND YOU ARE WELL PRESENTED. BRAVO

  • It seems to me, that you're talking about the contrast of the labels "Strong" vs "Good" in a woman. Did I get it? If it is, then I see a lot of ppl who failed to grasp it in your 2 min video. If not, TMOTOFGA, please correct me.

  • @peposo7

You got it. Many didn't as observed. Doing the right thing doesn't make you strong. Strength is about endurance and is no indicator of morality, good or bad. I simply would prefer a good woman of strong positive moral character. Thanks for commenting.

  • your a very handsom man

  • @ 1:45...me either Tmot...you hit it on the head with this one. I be trying to tell 'em the same thing...it has nothing to do with what they're trying to say it does. smh (irritating and very unattractive)

  • Man I don't agree with everything u say but there damn sure is some truth to the things that u say. I'm a black man who has found a valuable intelligent and beautiful black women who I respect and love grately. But there is so much work to be done , I was born black i'ma die black so most definitely I am pro black , but understand all races have flaws . You just know of ours moreso because your one of us. peace.

  • lol wow he kind of has a point. A strong black woman does not have to advertise. Her status is self-explanatory. (i.e. Michelle Obama, Coretta Scott King, Rosa Parks, Margaret Walker, and the list goes on)

  • I agree with this brother %100 except for the part where he said that these women made a mistake. When women choose men who are bums...it is not a mistake....it is a bad choice. The Church has this thing called "mistake" that they use in place of "sin".

  • You tell em Tmonte.

  • Truth.

  • haha TmoT "drive time" LOL keep the videos up your sending out good messages

  • I hope and pray you have a lot of respect for your mother because what i hear, it seems maybe she wasn't apart of your life.

  • @TheTahara234

You need not pray. I have several videos on here about and one with her in it. The problem is your comprehension skills or your feminist indoctrination.

  • @TheTahara234 I agree. He sure talk down his own race.

  • I am a strong black woman, not a rude, ignorant black woman....the two are confused all the time. I am well educated, respectful, no kids and do not date losers. I don't want to be a baby mama but someone's wife and mother. I work for mine and do not rely on a man to pay the bills. I'll even foot the bill on dates. Many of my black sisters confuse strong with "ghetto and loud".

  • they usually associate "strong" with being "rude" at least from my experience

  • Tmont, you are 100% correct.

  • I dont believe in that strong bw ish.

    Its a load of crap.

Just because you may have went through alot of stuff or have totake care of the kids by yourself or what evr the case may be.Regardless, this is what you are suppose to do just like anyone elese.

  • Wait, I will not stop saying I'm a strong Black woman. Personally, I'm over 35 and have no kids. I chose not to have them. I choose not to date bums. I choose to stay in school. I choose to have my own business. I choose to work. I choose to be healthy and exercise. I have a high IQ. I do most things alone b/c men don't want a woman who handles her own business and isn't loud and slutty. So I have to be strong. No other choice. Where's the balance? Damned if I do, damned if I don't.

  • @SymbiantSound

You sound more like a Good Woman to me. Peace.

  • @SymbiantSound your statement sounds like me.

  • @SymbiantSound Well there is balance. I am a black man and would love to have a woman that has all the atributes of what you are describing. However, I don't think that i need a strong black woman. What i need is a good woman period regarless of color. You sound as though you really have your stuff together and I admire that in any woman. Being a "strong black woman" does not solidify you as more of a woman than any other race. Be a strong woman first. JMO. Peace!!!!!!

  • @jaymaan4 Thats all I can be. And that's all I am. A strong woman. I just happen to have parents that are considered African American. To tell the truth, if I were to get hyper technical about it, I would break down the percentages of African, Native American, European, Caribbean and South Asian blood I have in me. But quite frankly, I'm busy establishing myself in my career, my spiritual life and my personal life. And that's truly enough. I hope you find this woman you seek. She's good.

  • @SymbiantSound

It's black men like this that hurts our race, someone so bitter a full ofd hate towards both BLACK KING S and QUEENS! There's good and bad in every race. But instad of trying to humiliate people ..TRY lifting them up in a positive way. GOD bless Dr. Martin Luther King.

  • @SymbiantSound

THANK YOU STRONG BLACK WOMAN(QUEEN) Don't let the court jesters knock you off your throne!

  • ... i think what it means is "a strong bad attitude" and not much more..... What they need is the love of Jesus so taht they can stop feling so bad about everything and get new "LOVE GOOGLES".

  • Black woman we know u are strong, evidence and statistic show you are emotionally stronger then woman of most races. But don't let that be an issue. A woman is gental, loving and caring that's what a man wants. Rap'ers may say they want a thug chick or ghetto chick but they really don't. I want a woman that speaks to me like she got sense instead of flyin off the handle all the time.

  • I do understand where you are coming from. However, if I am not to be "strong," per se, then am I to be weak? Docile? Offering suggestion for household decisions (as opposed to being insanely opinionated)? Am I to not have a voice, or a say-so? Am I to let the man fight my battles? My parents are still together (Black man & Black woman), and my father is head of the family, yet my parents shared authority. Someone help me out . . . I'm 28, independent, and well-raised . . .

  • @divafabulista

How you came away with that is puzzling to me. I was very clear.

  • Amen! I am a woman who was always bothered by people trying to make "strong black woman" into some compliment! It's not! To me the combination of "strong" and "black" should describe a man! That's what I like...a strong, black MAN! Now please describe me as being a sweet, feminine, black woman...I'll take that in a heartbeat!

  • As a black man lets not put down the "strong black woman" pronouncement, because the fact is that many "men" have left after getting these sisters pregnant. Every study has shown that women make less money than men, and yet they do the best they can with their children. Sure the black woman has issues, but we as men have to look to ourselves as the problem. Until we get involved with raising our babies we have no real right to object to the "strong black woman" proclamation.

  • @blackhoodcomicsinc

Considering 7 out of 10 kids in the Black Community are born out of wedlock, how strong can this Black woman be, especially when there are often times multiple kids by multiple men? How strong can she be? I await your answer.

  • @tmotofga The fact that some black women do not chose men wisely does not take away from the fact that it takes strength to raise children alone. How much strength does it take for the men to leave these women to care for these children alone? I understand the thrust of your argument but I think that the black man is more at fault than the black women. Black women are seeking higher education at rates way higher than black men, because in many cases they need to earn more money for the children.

  • @blackhoodcomicsinc A man doesn't choose a woman-"a woman chooses a man". And black women more then not choose no-good men to be with. Thugs and Gangsters seem to be the most popular choice of man for a black woman. If black women did a better job in choosing her man-she would not have to raise those kids by herself. Yes, that man should take care of his responsibilities, but that woman has the choice of being with him or not.

  • i cant stop laughing from this as its so true. great vid and the message youre sending to poeple is great.

  • When a woman borrow behaviors that contradicts her feminine nature, she's lost it. Discard it if it's not helping. It's foolishness to think you can be without a marriage simply because the think men or black men are unfit to handle you. If you think U re super and careless about our men, who go out of ur way disusing us everywhere. Anyway, It's for u folks in the USA.

  • Thanks for asking the question, who is really this strong black woman? the one who can physically match a man? the one who's stubborn and will always argue her man until she wins it her way ? the one proving how much of a class and "know so much" she is? the one who will win decisions in the house against her man? If what is considered great/strong has created a colossal failure in black marriages, why Uphold such senseless masculineness of a man when U re a woman?, why hold it tenaciously?.

  • Can I hear an A-men? AAAAAAAAAAA MEEEEEEENNNNNNNN!!!

  • LMAO!! This video is funny!

  • the sound of truth is refreshing like a cool drink of water from a mountain spring.

  • i think i love you!!!! you can get all my lunch money gurl!!!! lol

  • some of these bums can put on a good act. Make you think that they are a good catch but in the end their just garbage. Trust me

  • lol black women not gone stop

  • you are on point tmotofga! smh....all this strengh is keeping many single.

  • By all means, no! I would not rely on my wife to defend me against an intruder, because I would not put her in harm's way. Fashion? Does a woman need to dress like a man? Unstable? The system has conditioned most women the solution to marital problems is divorce. Most fights end with phone calls to police and to lawyers. Check the statistics: 75% of all divorces are filed by women. If you are married, it's a fair bet your wife has mentioned divorce after a dispute. If not, God bless you.

  • Teach brother teach.

  • The greatest delusion of the 21st century is the "strong black woman" myth. This is the biggest deception to date! How can you be strong and independent, when you depend on the system, family, friends and neighbors to fill the shoes of one MAN?

There's only one strong man in my home, and my wife does not even wear pants.

If we are threatened, I don't look for her to defend me. She's most likely to run and scream! Her solution to most problems is to file for divorce! Women have been hoodwinked.

  • @mantleofvalor

    Wise words.

  • @tmotofga

These are interesting times in which we live. Prophecy is being fulfilled daily. I am happy to know I am not the last man standing when it comes to family values in the black community. Yours is a strong voice for the people, a clarion call of hope and righteousness.

These are the days of Elijah, and the call of Men Of Valor to stand.

God strengthen and encourage you, my brother.

When black men awake, the world will shake.

  • @mantleofvalor youre kidding right? this is how you describe your wife as an unstable gender specific fashion wearing coward?

  • That's a very valid point, I never thought about it like that. And you're absolutely right, I don't want a "strong black woman" I just want a good God fearing woman.

  • I think what tmotofga is trying to say is that even though the woman may be strong physically or whatever it may be, she should focus on being a good person as a whole and decent. I do think that anyone can be physically strong, but what makes her a woman that has a lot to offer is her how decent she is and that she doesn't reflect those top 10 things he was talking about.

However, I do think this should go to all women as well.

  • HUH! I always thought strong black woman was a woman who was more than likely sexually abused physically (you know most our women are) by relatives.... NOT on welfare or babies by multiple men but some one who is a survivor works goes to school cooks cleans takes care of kids ALONE and takes her bad days and lets them blow with the wind

  • it was thru the blk woman we were broken n its only right that thru the blk woman we rebuild.... heal our women teach our children our true history.. I dont hv much time to make videos maybe I should to reach more ppl but Im busy one on one up close and personal... If you change one life u COULD change the direction of the next generations... HOW DO YOU TEACH A CULTURE TO LOVE THEMSELVES AGAIN WHEN THEY ARE HATED BY SOCIETY? Tell blacks to Jump online and degrade their own lol many blessings

  • @FukWhatUSay your so right

  • tmot you hit this one out of the ball park, this "I'm a strong black woman" phrase is a worn out and empty excuse many black shout out in order to feel good about themselves. Its just as ridiculous as all these fake african kenta cloth and other african stuff black people buy from Koreans and then run around acting like they are pro black.

  • AINT THAT THE TRUTH!

  • Finally!

  • i agree 100% with this vid

  • Brother...while you at it...could someone please explain to me what a "INDEPENDENT WOMAN" is?

Independent of What? Independent of whom?

Are you sure it's not DEPENDENT on Government Programs? lol.

  • I have always hated the term, "Strong Black Woman" It is an insult to black womanhood. Listen, you only did what was necessary to survie. It doesn't make you strong, it makes you responsibile.

  • THis is a super smart guy

  • What you said is so true and I agree %100!

  • a strong black does that mean you can lift as much as i can lol i laugh at that part but good video bro

  • When I see these same "strong" women fighting and dying on the frontline in equal number as male soldiers, policemen, and firemen; erect buildings and bridges without a man's help; forgo all pussy passes in terms of lighter prison sentence, false rape allegation, paternity fraud, sexual harassment, alimony, domestic violence, child custody, unaudited spending of child support, etc...then they MIGHT be eligible to label themselves 'strong'. Until then, realize that you are a protected class.

  • Hmmm, you have mentioned (here and in another video i saw) black women having babies by "these fools" and both times it seemed as though you were all too willing to put the choice solely on the woman. Its as though you don't realize that everything around her says that she should choose that type of boy/man. Its as though you don't realize that she likely has extremely low self esteem and therefore is more susceptible to the guy who tells her she's "the bomb" and makes her feel valuable.

  • @shatara55

No different than a preacher in the pulpit. Study to show thyself approved and it is difficult if not impossible to be mislead.

  • @tmotofga "study..." the bible??? The statement you just made is a fallacy. I am a black woman who is also a student of sociology and psychology, what you're ignoring is the fact that a.) many are not raised as Christians, b.) many who are are see examples set by their parents of saying you're Christian, but acting just the opposite... There's so much more wrong with that statement I don't even have room in this box to mention.

  • @shatara55

First off, I said study. I did not say what. Don't have time for you. I'm busy.

  • @shatara55 I AGREE WITH UR STATEMENTS and I had a nice chuckle with the last one

  • I agree with this vid 100 percent.

  • People, especially Black men, are waking up to this farce of the "Strong Independent Black Woman". It's such a joke even white comedian Kathy Griffin calls herself a Strong Black Woman.

Nobody takes it seriously, except the obnoxious black women on welfare calling themselves independent, & the 1s thinking being aggressive & belligerent is strong.

This is just something lonely women say to justify their situation after they've had 4 kids with 3 baby's daddies, or to justify a nasty attitude.

  • @BlackPerspectivenet I agree with you 100 percent.

I dont believe in that ish at all.

  • Very well said! It is about time we start to shut down some of the madness Webbie created with that I N D E P E N D E N T mess

  • i agree great video. you couldnt have put this any better

  • @tmotofga Well said. One of the best postings on the topic yet. I'll tell you what a strong black woman is. She's an argumentative, cynical, single individual with a toxic soul. She refuses to see how the choices she's made have brought her to her present day condition.

  • Preach brother preach!!!! I'm suscribing

  • I understand what you're saying and I agree 100 pecent. These days "strong black woman" really means "loud-talking, stubborn, hard-headed, and obnoxious.

In fact, the Bible refers to a woman like this in Proverbs 21:19. "It is better to dwell in the wilderness than with a contentious and angry woman."

So the Word of God tells young men that a "strong black woman" is NOT the kind of woman he should marry.

  • Outstanding comments brother.

  • Strong is talking these things through until we all arrive in a happier place.People get played by society and popular culture & the powers that be regardless of race. The evil socialist elites know who to target with their propaganda in order to do maximum damage to families. They target the weak spots to make us all weaker & more dependent on them.Whatever happened to freedom and indepence? It died when the family died.Humans better get back to real happiness+freedom soon or we're all done for.

  • *independence

the end game is global socialism... dependence on the man aka SLAVERY!

That's why they've been screwing us all (all people) for so long and it is what they have been sterring us towards for a long long time.

  • Here's a fun little fact: in China "the man" is Chinese!

  • All my life, I've tried to learn how to become a strong black woman. At my current age (12) I don't let my older brothers tell me what to do or boss me around because I'm the only girl and the youngest.

  • your a cool lookin cat , id kick it with ya brother, kick some knowledge to the lil nephews

  • I just watched your video. It cracked me up! Well said!

  • thank you

  • I hear you, its basically one of those lines inspired by feminism, why not say i m equal to you as a man? No thats not the goal of feminism, they want female superiority.

  • the jezebel spirit is in the bw,she desires praise, that is why she constantly toots her own horn-diva queen, backbone of the community.......so on and so on her arrogance is unchecked and out of control.she cant be quiet especialy in church

  • I beg to differ. A 'strong black woman' was given the title as she bent over in the cotton and rice fields of the Americas lifting 250 lb. sacks of commodity next to the males in her household/community. It is not a title of virtue, but one of burden. Call me a virtuous, dignified, or noble woman who has SPECIFIC aspects of character strenghts; however do not call me anyone's burden.

  • You're my hero!

  • Amen ! If these sisters are so strong then why do they let no good men use them for grease traps to dump semen in and go back to wife, or whoever is next? Why do they keep letting jack leg preachers use them for atm machines? Why do they put up with being beat, humiliated and lied to, from the pulpit on down and saying she does it for her kids? Sounds more like a weak black woman to me .

  • wow that was deep

  • I agree. There is a deception and/or misnomer of the "Strong Black Woman" and we are unconsciously embellishing a title that we should NOT have to wear. We are all born to be strong individuals and champions when we fulfill our purposes in God. Yet, black women are deceived to believe we don't need men, we can do it all by ourselves and that we have to be "strong" and not show our emotions and feel the strength and love from a man. No thank you, I don't want the "Strong Black Woman" Award.

  • @SPARKWISDOM Well, I agree with the statement that God equips every person with strength. God equips us with everything we need including the ability to think. However, too few use their brains. They are busy using and reusing ideas created by others that don't serve them well. This is really, really sad.

  • I am a 24 yr old blk woman. I watched this and I can see where you're coming from. It dose steam from lack of supportive black fathers. I just dont think they ( the strong black women ) should use that as a public disclaimer.....

  • A lot of women use the term who shouldn't even use the term, because some aren't good wives, good mothers, good women, or ladies, but yet they consider themselves a strong black woman. It's not easy being good at all these thing, but get the basics down before setting yourself on some higher level of womanhood.

  • BRAVO!

    EV

  • i know what DOES it mean??? i know thats right.

  • bloozeman- when your born white you are automatically guaranteed certain things.look up the stats. White men have ruled and destroyed man-kind and they are corrupting the minds of young men(of all races) Step out of your little rural all white towns and watch how any WOMAN works. She's strong. The day A MAN can witness and feel how giving birth feels. Then shut the hell up. there is a strong black woman. Trying being a single father.&don't call yourself strong. Stop making excuses for men!

  • What does anything he said have to do with being born white? What is the difference between a white single mom and a black single mom? The struggles are still the same. Women all give birth the same way. So I do not understand your comment it makes no sense what so ever.

  • tmot tmot tmot....alot of times your right....but on this one YOU ARE WRONG and quite disrespectful. Take a step back and reevaluate your understand of what it means to be a strong black woman because you are clearly uninformed. It's okay to be opinionated but never disrespectful.... you've crossed the line sir...so dissapointed in you....

  • I'm not entirely sure I understand. Doesn't being a good wife take strength? A good Mom? Being a good person particularly these days takes strength. You seem to think that all of these things are innate for women and that they don't have to work at it. They take work and, yes, they take strength. The only problem that I have with the phrase "strong black woman" is that it's redundant.

  • its simply ignorace to put another human being down, just because we live in a world where a white man is gloryfied and his women are only good for laying on their backs and throwing up so they can look perfect. WW have never held a strong presence in society. They didn't 200 years ago and they won't 20 years from now. If there isn't a strong black woman than there isn't a strong white woman. I'm proud of my people man or woman. This man should be ashamed.

  • you say we live in a world where the white man is glorified, you make it sound like just because your born white your automatically glorified and inferior to every other race well thats bullshit ,you receive glory by your accomplishments in life and it just so happens we live in a country where whites outnumber blacks so naturally your going to see more whites than blacks being glorified I see many people glorifying tmot and he's black, instead of blaming whites maybe blacks need to step it up

  • PREACH BROTHER PREACH!!!

  • Please people, do not talk to me about the 1st woman, little tiny villages in Africa where people live in peace and harmony, historical figures, I don't give a damn. Talk to me about what is going on in our neighborhoods and provide real, practical solutions. AA's talk too much but they don't provide any solutions. Thank God we have people like TMOT

  • Like I said the Jail house are full of the Pride I could raise my child up by myself BS no other race promotes that BS no other race is letting the system brainwash them on killing their children but BW like I said 14%-8% who makes the decision on abortions?WOMAN the results are in and the Wm is winning cuz the BW wants to be white she hates her skin hair etc even her sons who represent that but we all know the WM is gonna turn on that ass the question is are yah ready?

  • A BM has no power against the whites who munipulate the BW/

BW want to be in complete control claiming they dont need the BM because they got welfare or their independence for the whitemans corperation when we know there really is no such thing as independence when you work for a corperation but the BW is so easily to munipulate she doesnt care to deal with logic or common sense

  • So I guess your father was a loser huh?Lets not forget b4 the 50's BW didnt work the men took well care of their families until the 2 world war and rounded all the BM up 70% never made it back from the war so most of the BW had to work on their own or work for welfare and told they are the rulers of their family by their Pimp Preacher

  • Ask the women of Katrina? We are at war and it has been getting worst but BW are living in the MATRIX BW have also been brainwashed by the system in supporting plan parent hood we went from 12-8% of the population my question is how did we get here?Majority of BM in jail were raised by single mothers pretty much shows the results of the strong so call BW

  • CrashArt- Yes but it took the weak minded father to walk out on his child. Forget that fact about the mother but What kind of man walks away from his child. A Punk, A coward, A fool. I want to know whats the point of a strong BM if they aren't exsistant.

  • You want to critique Black men in return instead of addressing the issue, be my guest. I'm all for a fair, balanced and nuanced analysis of the situation. We have to get past the point where, when someone issues strong criticism of the mythical strong Black woman, we immediately respond with "well BM are merely sperm donors". This is not a war mademoiselle. Tmot and I are trying to effect real change. This is not a slandering contest, grow up!!!

  • You are here preaching about Eve and Adam and sh..t whereas most of these imaginary strong Black women can't even put their panties on the right way.

  • This is very funny because doesn't it take a good wife, mother, person & provider to be a strong person. Are you all inferring that Oprah isn't a strong women, Michelle Obama isn't a strong women Condalisa rice isn't a strong women. May be if your mother gave you a good example of a strong black woman then you wouldn't have these views. How about you men get some dignity to broaden your vocabulary. I am an Established Confident Woman, who denounces everything you said.

  • You missed the point of the video Missk39. The vast majority of so-called "strong Black women" don't have anything to offer a man. They lack the very qualities that men look for in a woman. The strong Black woman is a myth. Go ahead and be a strong Black woman, I want the type of woman that Tmot described in his vid, real talk

  • PrinceNoirAmericain - I understand the point of the video but it's men like him that aren't helping only hurting. If the strong black woman is a myth than the human race is a myth. It was an African Woman who gave life to all man kind. No matter what race you are, you're a decendent from Africa. Tell me Sir maybe if a strong man offered (which there aren't) more than sperm, these women wouldn't have to raise children by themselves. Maybe if they didn't have weak minds, they could see whats real

  • This is exactly the type of discussion in which I don't like to take part. You are no different from Afrocentrists. I don't give a damn about these African queens!!! Transmit this information to these so-called "strong Black women". We have to redefine what it means to be a strong Black woman in 2009. Our neighborhoods are filled with weak Black women who are totally clueless as to what characterizes a strong Black woman.

  • Oprah and michelle are images and idols and individuals not a good abservation on the average bw;Oprah could give two shits about BP period she has been in the white world so long that she couldn't understand the problems that be/BW are always using the I gotta degree BS what will that do in the time of Americas down fall?

  • Amina Queen of Zaria, Candace Empress of Ethiopia, Cleopatra VII Queen of Kemet, Dahia-Al Kahina Queen Kahina, Makeda Queen of Sheba, Nandi Queen of Zululand, Are you saying that those are idol's, images, fictional characters. No they are African Queens. It took the white mans sadistic mind to bring the black woman down to her ultimate low. And it took the Black man to continue it. Now its going to take a Black Woman to raise herself up, w/or w/out a degree.

  • MissK, your rhetoric shows you've been well indoctrinated by 50 y.o. CIA propaganda. For decades, images of Strong Women have been rammed into the national psyche to wreck the social fabric and emasculate men, not to promote fair treatment of women

In today's anomic society, it takes A LOT of courage to be a good wife and mother, especially for a Sista! She gets no help there! What has the Strong Woman gained from all her pathetic displays of pride? She'll get her bitter reward soon enough

  • Mushroom -What exactly does it take to be a good Husband and Father? Where would African American People be with out their pride? Would America be what it is today if the people weren't bitter? Would they have entered into the American Revolution? I'm just asking. Where did you come from? A Woman's womb or a Man's degrating mouth? Is it the black woman's fault that she was beatin brused, and abused by the white man, and forced to raise a white womans children? How do you answer??

  • MissK39, go watch a bunch of Malcolm X videos here on YouTube. He diagnoses the problems of Black Men and the rotten social architecture we all live under better than I could.

Your personal problems are symptomatic of a larger evil. As long as you see the world through the your own tribulations, you'll never get the Big Picture, even though you'll get only a few of the right answers by accident.

Black folk are suffering from decades of CIA social engineering and their affiliate NGO's

  • Amen!

  • Why do they have to tell you that they're a strong black woman? Their actions should tell that for them.

It would be as if I were to say I'm a good black man. Are you just going to take me at my word? No. You'd wait until you see me doing good before you'd believe that statement.

  • good video

  • fucking thank you!

  • RIGHT

  • Black women in the United States that is let's not get confused with the African descendants throughout these continents.

  • Black Women are stronger than black men black men are physically stronger but black women are stronger than black men at every spect of life

  • i feel you, i had ti address this same issue in my video .. peace !

  • I would like to add one more thing...and that is that, the term originated from days of slavery and then share cropping when black women worked alongside men in fields. It was determined that we had the physical capacity to endure strenuous work like that of a man, whereas our caucasion sisters were treated as delicate "southern bells". My point is simply that the term was not created as a compliment to us.

  • I am with you man, I hate that phrase for 2 reasons: 1) women use it as justification mistakes and/or overly agressive attitudes and 2) people use the phrase against us for justification to treat as something other than a lady. That term has been to detriment of my race of women rather than a term that has uplifted us.

  • i DON'T WANT TO BE A STRONG BLACK WOMEN! TO HELL WITH THAT MIND SET!

  • Bro Tmot, this was (I rarely hear it these days, damage done) language that is used to denegrate the Black man. Remember it all starts with language. If the woman is so strong, what does that make the man? Yep, you got it. In the "beginning" there was the word. Hence, you got today what you got in the relationship between Black men and women. For the most part, he's weak and can't protect his community and family, she's "strong" and can't do it either. The children suffer. Go figure.

  • This video and the Reflections of a True Thug video are excellent. The next time I hear dude say "Drive Time", I'm running because I don't want to be mentioned in the video yo. LOL!

But seriously though, good vids, dude.

  • I just hope one day these "strong black women" will start buying thier own drinks and dinners.

  • Would it have been better if the woman not have called herself a strong black woman? How should she have referred to herself if she were asked to describe herself as a woman?

  • You hit the nail on the head again! This same mentality is the reason why black men get so much resistance when we find a woman, too busy being strong instead of being supportive. Black women sometimes even compete with men like it's a badge of honor to be stronger than men, what a joke. I thank God that my wife understands the role of herself first of all and my role as her husband and King. I've dated those types and would never ever go that route again.

    PEACE

  • Words and phrases can change over time. This is one which had changed.

  • Now what does witchcraft have to do with this? To me a welfare queen IS NOT a strong Black woman. Also I do agree that a woman basicly can not raise a male child correctly alone...I am not saying this to repeat that Boyz In The Hood theme. But I do feel single parenthood id the base of the problem.

  • Feminism is Witchcraft. Blacks became enslaved because we tolerated various types of Witchcraft in Africa. And now, blacks tolerate Feminism the same way, by not exposing it for the Witchcraft that it is!

Black women have failed to lead; the evidence is everywhere! Her sons wear sagging pants, yet she says nothing, while many black girls think it's cute, and wears her name written across her but to also attract attention. She is Eve and Satan all over again! The proof is all on Youtube!

  • Not all Black women are welfare queens. There are Black women WORKING and are the only financial provider in the household. Women are in the workforce and are competing for high paying jobs in which women still earn less for the same job as a man. There are a lot of unemployed men out there of all races and they are seeking women to provide for them.

  • This is not about that. This is about what the term originated from. A woman who competes, earns, provides can be a apart of ANY person's characters regardless of Race.

  • For me, a strong Black Woman is someone who has failed at something in their lives or a component of their life, and now trying to justify the failure by claiming that they are the victim of the failure when all the while they were the problem.

  • Well said Tmot...as usual.I must add that along with a woman calling herself strong,if a woman titles herself as queen, goddess, any other titles for royalty or having any type noble qualities then she has discredited herself in that how she carries and conducts herself would show in itself what type woman she is and her 'greatness' and the best way to "show off" such 'greatness is through humility

  • Tmotofta man.......... that was well put

  • Strong in this case to me does not refer to muscles but instead it is her will to make it even if the no good daddy is around to be responsible. This is a big problem in every race.Men stand up!

  • Believe it or not, I knew it did not. I was being facetious.

  • Preach TMOT!

The Strong Black Woman is on the way out. Nature is taking over and we are seeing the rise of the New Barbarians who will be able to survive in the hell that was once the U.S.

In every gang, in every city, there will be roving bands of thugs, some working for the dictatorship and some freelancing for the drug lords. Today's "strong black woman" will become tomorrow's tramp. Her status will be determined by the thug she can attract so she can eat and live.

  • @InfiniteMushroom,

Excellent comment. I think that is how Armageddon will go down. And it looks like we aren't far from that.

  • AAAMMMMENNN

    Well said, TMOT.

I'll take a woman of good character, solid morals, and wifely qualities over a "strong" black woman every single day of the week.

  • All I can say to that is....AAAAAAMMMMMEEEEN!

  • ...not only that... any woman that goes around saying she's a "strong" black woman lets me know immediately that she does NOT have a HUMBLE SPIRIT.

A truly strong BW doesn't need to go around telling everyone she's strong... her character and personality will reveal it....

it's about as silly as a man saying how "confident" he is... if he's truly confident in himself he doesn't need to tell everyone... it would obvious.

    SELF-proclaimed titles are NOT attractive.

  • I agree. I don't want a woman to compete with me. I want her to compliment me.

These women need to realize it's not cute telling a man she doesn't need him. What man is going to be with a woman thhat doesn't need him. We need each other.

If these women are so strong, how come they wake us up in the middle of the night if she thinks someone broke in the house? I'll have to make a video response for this one. Great video.

  • Co-signed. That's real talk, TSmitty.

  • Well, you've got a point here. what is the definition of 'strong black woman". you hit it on the nail...the title being born out of situation by which a woman got a baby and was forced to raise him/her on her own..strongggg!

I have a girlfriend who is a single mother raising a young boy with limited positive role models in his life. She insists that she is all he needs and that she can raise him to be a man who can discern proper relationships and ideals relative to men and women. I so disagree.

  • Canon Vixia HD20. Thanks.

  • Okay, WHY are there Kathy Griffin videos related to this one in the side bar? Lol.. I DON'T even want to hear what she has to say on it.. got banned from the Apollo.

TMOT, I never thought about that connotation of the strong black woman. Just know I am strong because I have been through a lot and still coe out with some wisdom & more confidence. But I just consider myself a strong woman- not Strong Black woman. I still need a man- certainly can't do it all. Agree with you. We need 2 b good ppl

  • ...and what, pray tell should I glean from that somewhat insightful, yet illusive statement?

I get the Jesus part, but that is not news to me for I am his.

  • I meant on the bottom where I left the comment for this video, smart guy

  • I agree.

  • People are in love with the sound of their own voice, and thats male and female. They just say things with no action backing anything they say, they just say it to make themselves look good for the moment. Now that my friend, is a hypocrite....

  • No clue. First I have seen. Please, repost.

  • Tell em TMOT. We have to diagnose it before we can fix it.
