  • @ManFromOverThere EXACTLY.... most people dont even know the half of what makes a J Dilla beat so good... the sound is just one of many, many, many, many, reasons why J Dilla is so good...

  • Genius...wish Nas could rock over some of Dilla's stuff

  • This is a real hip hop...paz!! DFKawz Krew

  • Many slept on Dilla while he was alive, now since ppl "discovered" his work they started showing luv for his music.. If you think ppl like Dilla beats because of the mainstreem effect from his death and all- you must be OUT YOURE MIND bruv! He was a genius and it shows in every single beat he made.. Don't hate, appreciate! Alle big producers say Dilla was the greatest- but I guess some avarage ppl always gotta feel they know better..

  • Why are people so hard headed? He obviously keeps cuttin ''J Dilla'' and ''This is a J Dilla beat!'' and ''J Dilla rest in peace''. Pay attention!!!!!

  • I refuse to believe this is Premier & Dilla.

Premier just put his tag on it. . .

That soul in the beat, you can just feel it. . .

    R.I.P Dilla.

  • Sorry but Dj premier kill Dilla a second time.

    From France

    Dilla RIP

  • there are no bad j dilla beats, i'm sorry. only people who think that are people who only got into him after he died and refuse to admit he makes beats which arent just soul samples and a weird drum loop.

  • J DILLA is the best producer of all times

  • i just cant see why everyone thinks dilla is the best........... his beats are pretty cool..... but the best?....nah....... and no i dont listen to lil wayne or shitty music like that....

  • @ThaSupaHeroReD the fact is that he's definitely one of the most artistic producers to have existed. Whether he's the best or not is a matter of personal opinion.

  • @ThaSupaHeroReD its about his own style.. people who say dillas beats´ the best just like every single beat ! there is no wack dillabeat... thats the dope thing bout dilla

  • fake

  • fake

  • primo was never on this..........

  • ..."this is a J Dilla Beat-beat-eat-at" No shit? Why would you wan't to ruine it with some stupid echo effects. It's like fucking a beat up to a whole new level.

I mean, i like Premo for the Gangstarr years but this is just stupid.

  • @wylinonwax its from a mixtape....Thats why there are echo effects.

  • @smokeurobinson i never digged mixtapes.

  • mad respect!

  • Holy fucking shit. This is beyond excellent.

  • Guilty as charged. Damn!

  • j dilla wow rip dilla

  • this was absoletly not a premier beat. Fuck fake title. it's a dilla beat.

  • @seboufdu59 It's from Preem mixtape beat is from Dilla cuts from Premier.

  • @seboufdu59 Premier has cuts literally saying "THIS IS A J DILLA DILLA DILLA BEAT"

  • @seboufdu59 no shit. thanks for pointing it out to everyone who missed "this is a j dilla beat" repeated 3 times.

  • @seboufdu59 Of course it's not. Premier even says it all through the song.

  • stfu n enjoy the sounds

  • :O WAT

Why havent I heard this befoe? :P Nice shit.

  • Do you truly think MAC DRE/E-40 HYPHY northern california Bay Area psychedelic pop RAP beats are truly HIP HOP? Emcees, rappers, and producers make mistakes too. People shouldn't look to them as so wonderful that they are exceptions to committing errors themselves. Zion I used to be hip hop and then they jumped on the hyphy train with mac dre, is this truly hip hop?? I think most true hip hop katz would be embarrassed to rap over this beat.

  • Now if you truly like this and it's your steez then i seriously won't clown cuz i mean its subjective and everyone has different tastes but yo, don't like something just because dilla was a legend and you feel like you're Forced to like something just because of his legendary status and what he did for hip hop. Some of y'all truly need to come up with an opinion for yourself cuz i come across so many ppl who say somethings hot cuz OTHER ppl think its hott. U feel me?

  • @mumsdawerd well said!

  • @mumsdawerd To continue that conversation..I remember cats were not even into SV nor Tribes' later stuff. There has been ALOT of dick-ridin since 05' listening to BenjiB on bbc radio..now midwest cats and those from the BAy area have been always been hip to him. Remember everyone was ridin outkast nuts-like THAT was the dopest shit out, then these bohemian dudes listening to Badu and Common started jumpin on dilla after he went back to the atoms...a lil late as usual these sheep ass wannabees.

  • @AR15SHOTS2U exactly! if cheebadude knew anything about nickwiz, beatminerz, buckwild, erick sermon, ayatollah, damu da fudgemunk, memoriza, etc...the list goes on with other underrated BOOM BAP rastafarian true skool golden era type of hip hop producers, then he actually may had understood where i'm comin from. but ofcourse he's stuck on that BOHEMIAN chebahsmokin hippie bullshit. These days, we need to get back 2 the BASICS of hip hop. wackness is no longer tolerated.

  • @mumsdawerd i feel you....100% but this beat is my favorite dilla beat!!!! PREMIER /PETE ROCK / ALCHEMIST / AND DILLA....THE BEST UP TO DATE

  • @mumsdawerd not really

  • @mumsdawerd

i totally agree with you man.theres plenty bad j dilla beats but also plenty great ones.this happens to be one thats kinda whatever to me

  • @mumsdawerd One of the most intelligent comments I've ever read.

  • @mumsdawerd yeah man. fuck the emperor's new clothes/

  • @mumsdawerd Yo check your steez my homie y'all chatting shite yo. Cuz y'all can't write in english no mores. Is you stoopid, werd.

  • @mumsdawerd straight truth, people these days act like fuckin puppets when it comes to music

  • @mumsdawerd No...I'll take as many people diggin' on this as possible, regardless.

  • i just lost a brain cell because i listened to this horrible track. I hate the radio as much as the next, but what is the difference??? Psychedelic hip hop is just as WEIRD and gross as lil wayne or 50 cent on the radio. This type of "hip hop" per say is going TOO far. Anyone heard of the phrase "trying too hard to be different"?? Just because its different doesn't mean its the greatest shit you ever heard in your life. I'm hoping y'all aren't listening cuz you hop on the bandwagon.

  • @mumsdawerd I have no problem with the way you feel about this song. BUT where do you get off saying this "is going TOO far"? there is no boundary's on music and you, nor anyone else can, will, or should ever want to limit it. And how the hell do you know j dilla was trying hard to be different? were you with him when he made this? artist experiment all the time, thats how hip hop, rock, blues, jazz, and all variations of music even started in the first place. Come on dude think before you speak

  • @CheebaRed if you were a true hip hop head, you seriously wouldn't be making such statements and asking me those bogus questions. How on God's green earth can you not hear the flaws in this instrumental? Listen to krs-one's "emcees act like they don't know", come back to this video, take another hard listen, and then try to come back with something more intelligent to say. Man, i don't get some of you who claim to love the art of hip hop. Has hip hop fallen off THAT drastically?

  • @mumsdawerd lol so your a true head because you can refer me to old ass premo tracks, did you just get into hip hop? Look Its obvious you don't know what your talking about or you wouldn't have wrote an essay on how you not liking a particular track, means other people are followers or don't know hip hop. Seriously, you sound like a fuckin crab.

  • @CheebaRed .....i'm glad that you're talented enough to put words into other peoples mouths. did i specifically say that referring you to an old premo track automatically makes me a true head?? It's obvious that you didn't even go and listen to that song. You're terrible with following directions. You probably went back into your memory and tried to remember exactly how that specific track sounded like and came back at me with your wack ass rebuttal. Your goofy "CRAB" ass don't know shit....

  • @mumsdawerd what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

  • @CheebaRed ......lol, alright old man from billy madison. sounds like something i would say. that was pretty good. i award you points for that but you're still a mark ass trick and an "incoherent" worthless square. Comprehend? or are you gonna come back with more movie quotes, hahahaha. You're pretty funny though, i'll give you that. No use in arguing without a sense of humor.

  • @CheebaRed that is a hilarious thing to say... BUT... it doesn't make sense because the guy actually said some good shit. people do like anything with Dilla's name on it... even the wacky beats... like the weird ones

  • @svendiamond "even the wacky beats... like the weird ones" your opinion, whats weird to you isn't weird to everyone, ever think of that? "people do like anything with Dillas name on it" yea whats your point, some people like anything made by Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Wu-Tang, Miles Davis, Etc. What their not allowed to enjoy Dillas music because other people think its a little wierd. And nothing mumsdawerd said was smart all he tried to do was hinder artists and disrespect a dead one.

  • @CheebaRed uh... no they're allowed... obviously. the dude was making a point about how everyone automatically likes anything by the artist (Dilla, Pink Floyd, whoever) once the artist comes out with a few good songs. From then on they love every song, or at least act like it.

  • @CheebaRed oh wow he did say some dumb shit though... something like "can't you hear the obvious errors in the beat?" lol wow... errors? that is hilarious.

  • @svendiamond Yea the thing is most of what the guy said amounted to "People who like this beat are most likely bandwagon dickriders". "Dilla tried to hard to make different music". He thinks he knows it all. Most people preach that it sucks not enough people like or know certain music for whatever reason. But as soon as it gets the slightest attention, everyone else just hopped on the bandwagon and they suddenly hate the music.

  • @CheebaRed Maybe it's YOU who should think before you speak man. I'm not putting boundaries on anything my dude. I wish you would go through my favorites and you'd see that i'm light years away from being closed minded. I listen to hip hop from a dozen countries around the World as well as right here in the good ole' U-S of A. Hip Hop is Universal and of course you gotta come correct and keep it 100. Yes hip hop is about experimenting, but then again it's also about editing and remastering.

  • Kinda reminds me of El-P's 'Smithereens'.

  • hahahhaha

  • nicely done

    dilla j

  • @HIPHOPrevoltion this beats dope and you suck.

  • eat shit and die

  • What u on about mate, u listening to the same track as everyone else???

  • @mumsdawerd He sampled all those different sounds you hear and arranged them to make a dope ass sounding track. He didn't do the Kanye Rza DRe shit and just speed or slow one sample. Yes it is disgusting

  • @napdog3 so it was pretty much a waste of time, even though he was being "CREATIVE"? so to speak.....seriously, i still don't see the significance. Educate me because this specific song sounds about as good as the "music" i make while shitting in a toilet....

  • @mumsdawerd Sober ears cannot hear it, trust! ; )

  • damm this is the sickest collabo ever ,the best producer of the whole wide world,,,

r.i.p. j dilla ,we all miss ya

  • Jay Deezy RIP

  • its a track premier put on his mixtape..

  • This is a J Dilla Production. It's was originally recorded at 2003 for Ruff Draft EP but Stones Throw just put a interlude of it without the Guily Simpson appearance but they put it in its re-issue. Premo doesn't have anything to do with this one!

  • fasho this is straight off of ruff draft..I love Dilla(RIP) and premo and its great how he shows love saying this is Dilla's beat, even on Jay stay paid, premo is on that sick as beat Big city promoting Dilla..J DILLA CHANGED MY LIFE..MORE THAN JUST A T-SHIRT..DILLA YOUR MUSIC WILL NOT BE IN VAIN!!

  • J - Dilla Number 1 - reference off of public enemy number 1

  • sick shit! simpson's a BEAST.

    RIP dilla.

  • whats the sample?

  • Dont know the exact track, but its off Peter Baumanns LP "Romance 76"

  • phase by phase

  • When the Lord took Dilla dog we lost truly one of the greatest beatmaka in the history of hip hop period. I love this aggin

  • Dilla loves Radiohead and vice virsa!

  • why are you saying this?

  • the song was listed on radiohead website as jonny's (radiohead's guitarist)favorite.

  • oh ok. I was like dreaming about some Radiohead remixes by Dilla or something... :)

  • Tight Beat. Premo = the greatest producer of all time. R.I.P. Jay Dee a/k/a J. Dilla. ONE

  • actually its a tie for best producer between preem and j dilla now i thought preem was the best but when i heard dilla its a tie cuz theyre styles are different because preems rock but are made for rappers and his beats make every rapper on them like god and then dillas beats dont need a rapper theyre just beautiful they talk to you

  • wtf this aint a premo beat ... and i dont get where the remix is right here??

  • This ain't no slap on the wrist shit, this is SICK SHIT!
