I guess that's the kind of sound synths try to reproduce on the cheap. Shame because It's astounding to watch a non-electronic instrument make this kind of sound.
So are there hammers hitting some kind of bar inside? How does that work exactly? Is it metal, ceramic? Seriously, I'm interested!
My mistake...It is a Mustel celesta and sounds just like most Mustel celestas. Sorry about the ignorant comment. I made it before I had actually heard a Mustel in person.
